The fact that E scales with AD instead of AP makes no difference for ranking up so there's no reason to actually max the E. Contrast to top lane [[Yorick]]: You max the E first for the sole reason that you're in a 1v1 situation and that the life steal will really help in that situation. In bot lane, the W has much more use to it and there's really no point in not maxing it. He seems quite alright when he gets going and fortunately most of the people has no idea about his power. Tho I'm sad he is not a viable top laner anymore but he just doesn't fit in this new meta.[/quote]

Mana management is a problem, but overall he can do some really nice things, and fits well in the assassin meta game. Matchups you definitely want him for are like [[Thresh]], [[Morgana]], and [[Janna]]. Any other matchup is fine as well, but less easy.[/quote]
