Brand isn't really OP, he's just like all the other AP carries: Annie, Ori, etc.
They burst hard, but buy MRes and try to dodge his ****.
Since he DOES rely on his combos, half of his skills are skillshot/delayed and able to be dodged.

I know, but early game when I don't have any MR (yet) he decimates me (and others) which makes him harder to counter mid/late game.
