And to add to what Mowen said, to my knowledge there are one or two active MobaFire members over 1800 elo. One is Xaioli and he doesn't Scout much (probably none of the guides here are good enough :P) and I think another is EvilDice(?).

Enmadaio (sp?) was pretty high too. I know Gravefury was high at least in season 1. Anyways, the point jhoi is making is we aren't exactly overflowing with high elo players on this site. Also, a lot of high elo players prefer actually ya know, playing the game and practicing to scouting other people's guides. :P That's part of the reason they're high elo ya know.

this is pretty true. sometimes i want to try and help scout but tbh i dont really know where to start. |

That's part of why I agree that giving a general knowledge test should be part of the scout application...the player doesn't necessarily need to be high ELO, they just need to actually know how to play the game. :P
