Now I believe that if I was just some random member, I don't believe this would've blown up like it did, but since I still have the Vet tag here, I'm being pointed out for not giving a 5-paragraph essay in which why this build is awesome, and every stick of information I need to give out on why I did what I did to continue having a good game. Guides are made so people like me who haven't played certain champions have a guideline to what one should build and how to go about it. I didn't know much about Jarvan, but looking over the guide: masteries, runes, skill loudout, etc. It helped me understand what to do with the character, and I went out and broke a 7-game losing streak and in good fashion. Jarvan's a stout character and me and my top lane partner that game did very well running our lane. Granted, yes, they started feeding near the end of the game, but that was when the match was soon to be over. The Nasus in general was just running into Mid and sacrificing himself over and over while we hurried down mid since it was clear that they were not going to try and turn around the game. I don't see the issue in me telling the Guide-maker that I had a good game and I enjoyed using his guide to help me out. Do I have to play 1800ELO Ranked and dominate in order for my comment to be justified? I don't believe so, knowing this was a Normal game that I got to enjoy a new character and did well in said match. I'm sure now that I look pretty ridiculous ranting about a Reddit topic made to show how I brag about beating feeders and how this makes me sleep better at night, but frankly when I'm being dragged in the dirt because I complimented someone's guide by telling them I had a good game, ponders the question of, "what SHOULD I have said?" Because I am a Veteran of MOBAFire, should I judge my words carefully? Should I give out high-ranked gestures on how his build is good? Or can I just tell a dude his guide is good and go on with my day? Before guides were all about "HEY LOOK HOW MANY VIEWS I HAVE PRO GUIDE HERPDERP", MOBAFire ran a community that posted guides to which players [before Vets/Mods were around] had casual likes/dislikes about the guides, and would post said opinions and go on about their day. Now I post I go 11/0/8 as Jarvan against people who gave up at the end of the game and I'm reddit's new whipping boy. I hope those upvotes taste delicious, because frankly I don't understand why you went so far to deface a random person's random comment on a random guide. Kudos to you I suppose. I guess I'll go back to playing Normals to up my bragging meter until it's full again so someone else can follow my every match and tell how horrible of a player I am. Good going Sport.[/quote]

It's pointing out how flawed the mobafire rating system is as far as a guide's rating being in anyways correlated to how effective the guide is.[/quote]
