Buy Sequence

Early Game 1
I start of with Boots because of all the Ability Power i get from my Runes, there's no need for an Ability Power item, like Doran's Ring. Then i go on a Sapphire Crystal because, I'm lacking on mana, but with Clarity I don't need it as a start item.
Early Game 2
If you rather want a lot of Ability Power in early game, i would recommend Doran's Ring so you'll get an extra early game boost, but with limited mobility. Then i go on a Sapphire Crystal Because i'm lacking on mana, but with the mana regen from Doran's Ring and Clarity I dont need it as a start item.

Mid Game
In mid game, I go on Blasting Wand and then finish my Rod of Ages, because it will give me the health I need to, well, stay alive. Then I go on the Rylai's Crystal Scepter because it gives me a lot of health, Ability Power and an awesome passive.
Late Game
In late game, i rush on a Athene's Unholy Grail because I need the mana regen, magic resist and, of course, the Ability Power. Then i go on the Zhonya's Hourglass because of the armor, Ability Power and the awesome active, and what it does, is, that in 2 seconds your champion becomes unable to move, but also invunerable, så, if pops her Ult, i just pop Zhonya's Hourglass active, then she can't do anything. And, finally, i go on Rabadon's Deathcap because of the awesome amount of Ability Power and the more awesome passive that increases your Ability Power by 30%.

Other items that would be usefull

You see, the reason that i chose is because, it have a lot of mana, a bunch of armor and a cool passive that drops your enemy's attack speed by 20 % if he's near you (or she's) so, if your'e taking on a carry, this is a great item. I guess you can figure the rest out by yourselves.

As you can see, i don't max out my before i max out my because, i think that it gives me and advantage in 1v1 fights at lvl 11-16.

Summoner Spells

A good choice in mid if you are playing an Ability Powered champion, is Clarity because it gives you a bunch of mana, so you can keep casting.
Also, a good choice for mid is because it gives you a bunch of health if your'e running low. You can replace that with , if your'e following the Early Game 1.
Other recommendable summoner spells
Ignite Because it deals true damage, so if your'e running low on mana, and your enemy is running low too, just pop igninte and you've almost secured the kill. But. BUT. remember to check the amount of damage before you pop it. It will be frustrating if you don't get the kill.
Flash Because it gives you a way out of trouble, and a way in to trouble.
Exhaust I guess it would be fine, i just don't use it my self, because if i go on flash, iv'e already got 2 escape possibilities, the 2nd from Spirit Rush

Unique Skills, combo's etc.

Combo's
Lvl 1-6
Your basic combo is Charm, Fox-Fire, Orb of Deception and if your enemy isn't finished yet, your'e screwed, due too cooldowns.

Lvl 6-11
This is more advanced, and since you've got your ult, Spirit Rush you use Charm Orb of Deception Spirit Rush !!IMPORTANT!! Use Spirit Rush only once, ONLY ONCE, you need the rest for later. Then, after using it once, use Fox-Fire and if your enemy isn't dead, pop the rest of your Spirit Rush.
Lvl 11-18
This is just the same as the combo you learn from lvl 6-11, but now you've probably got some more Ability Power, then try not to pop your Spirit Rush, just use your normal abilities. And if it isn't enough, just spam your Spirit Rush.

Unique Skills
Your main damage comes from your Orb of Deception, but also, in a 1v1 fight a lot of your damage comes from Fox-Fire. But in teamfights, were your in the middle of the fight, use your Spirit Rush and start casting, out of focus. They can't keep, keeping up too you.

Farming
Your basic farming guide, is very very simple, from lvl 1-6, just let minions take out each other, while your'e getting the opponent low by casting. Then, when the minions are low, just use a couple of basic attacks.
Then, from lvl 6-11, where you probably got a little more mana, you can use your Orb of Deception] to make stacks on Essence Theft
