Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello! This is my second guide EVER. It will not be the best rated, but i will try everything, with recent updates, to make this guide better. join me with those recent updates! This guide is here to demonstrate that Evelynn is in fact NOT useless! Hope you enjoy and you will get a ton of Evelynn in this guide!
Pros / Cons
+ Extremly good ganker
+ Strong early game damage output
+ Can easily withdraw from a battle and go B
+ Can slow enemies and chase
- Very squishy
- relies on farming and being fed
- Can be completely ignored in a teamfight if built wrong and/or is feeding!
-Needs all the mana she can get
+Can deal good damage to one target in teamfights
+Can kill every single escaper
+Can stack attack speed with Agony's Embrace, Surge
-No good farm
-Hard early game, good late game
-Skills are almost useless except for Shadow Walk and Agony's Embrace
+Easy early game
+ Hate Spike can deal MASSIVE amounts of damage
+ Ravage deals a lot of damage as well
- Agony's Embrace is useless, as she doesn't have a madreds bloodrazor to deal Ap damage with Standard attacks
-Very low damage output lategame if the items are insufficient
-Cannot quickly burst someone down unless sufficient items
-Has to be with the team, fighting, and using Ravage to lower Magic Resist/Armor
This is pretty much a standard 21/0/9 build, with a tweak. In the utility you need the extra speed for running! Eve needs to be very fast to get going. Standard AD build, nothing to say here. of course this makes her damage output better.
Deals damage when activaded
You deal damage to up 1 enemy around you, and after that smaller spikes deal 50% of the damage to 2 enemies around this enemy.
Turns you invisible for 10/20/30/40/50 seconds
Evelynn turns invisible and will slow an enemy she attacks next.
Deals damage based on AP and lowers Magic resistance and armor of an enemy
Ravage deals damage with 100% of your AP and lowers the enemies Magic Resistance and Armor for a short duartion
Passive:You regain HP upon getting a kill or assist Active: You gain attack speed and movement speed
You regain up to 300 HP when getting a kill or assist.
Her active makes her rage and gives her 50% attack speed and 30% movement speed.

Evelynn's skill sequence is hard to master, i think mine is pretty good.
Take Her Agony's Embrace at level 6, 11, and 16. Max her Shadow Walk last, even though it gives slow debuff to the enemy. It steals all of your mana, anyways, and the duration doesn't matter that much (except if you want to gank)
Here are my preffered summoner spells:
: Ghost is Obvious, as you can run or chase.
: For experienced players who want to be able to more chase, also depends on a tiny bit, which is: do you want to run away/catch up with Ghost or do you want to slow their speed and attack speed with Exhaust?
: The perfect skill for eve! Notice how her Agony's Embrace gives her Attack speed, and Surge does that BUT it adds AP!
: Good for beginners to move around the map.
- Why would you need to heal? You're squishy as DAMN so if you get attacked there is no point in heal, you're not the support.
- For beginners who can't control mana. Useless.
- WHY for the love of god would you ever want a slightly buffed minion last hitting for you? If you have to go this deep, may as well lose all of your elo and go down to 0.
Doran's items choice: Of course if you're going AD take a Doran's Blade, if you're AP a Doran's Ring and if you're worried about the squishiness take a Doran's Shield .
The Doran's Shield is very much my choice (thanks to Shiikan for convincing me ;) as it gives you hp and armor, as well as Hp-regeneration, just for some sustain.
Boot Choice: Well, there are 3 Viable boot choices I can think of. If you want to move very quick around the map, get Boots of Mobility
If you want to have cooldown reduction (especially for Hate Spike) get Ionian Boots of Lucidity
If you would ever want magic penetration, If they for example stack Magic resistance, Get Sorcerer's Shoes!
In case they have a very heavy CC team, go and get Mercury's Treads.
If you're going AD her core is going to consist of
Berserker's Greaves and a Youmuu's Ghostblade OR A The Black Cleaver.
The active of the Youmuu's Ghostblade is awesome, it adds to Surge and Agony's Embrace, but The Black Cleaver gives you Armor penetration, which helps you a lot, too.
DO NOT TAKE AN Infinity Edge! A Guinsoo's Rageblade is enough and gives ap, some food for your skills! ^^ This build doesn't focus on crit Eve, you must see!
Now if your team is very much Owning the enemy team, go ahead and build more AD instead of MR or Armor. Focus on the damage output, not the damage you can take
Ap Evelynn is a little bit harder to play but gives you a lot better damage output in the beginning. The Core is as follows: Boots of Mobility and a Lich Bane OR Sorcerer's Shoes and a Lich Bane. This choice is only dependant on their Magic Resistance.
If they have high Magic Resistance, get Sorcerer's Shoes
Also, take notice that you could also go with a Rabadon's Deathcap, but a Lich Bane Gives you more attack damage output since you will be spamming your Hate Spike in a teamfight.
Situational items: If they have a bunch of runners, get a Rylai's Crystal Scepter, it gives a slow, if you're AP, and get a Frozen Mallet if you're AD.
Also, In the case you want even more attack speed, get a Guinsoo's Rageblade . This thing is awesome, it gives you both attack speed, damage, and AP! Just awesome.
Now in case the game goes very far and you're done with your build, go sell your Doran's item, and buy something else.
For an enemy team with AD: Get a Randuin's Omen for Armor and HP.
For an enemy team with AP: Get either a Quicksilver Sash or a Banshee's Veil, whichever one fits the situation more (except that Banshee's Veil Gives you HP and mana AND magic resist.)
Lich Bane: Like a trinity force, but better. gives you Magic resistance against their magic casters. Also, when attacking, it is always great to get 100% of your ability power (in this case, 376) ontop of your AD (142) Giving you massive AD damage for the next attack. Just use Ravage and then spam Hate Spike while in Agony's Embrace and Surge. This can and will take any tank down (Except if they have 3 Warmog's Armor, not like anyone gets 3 Warmog's Armor...)
Frozen Mallet super slow boost to all of your attacks, and a giant health boost.
