Introduction

TANK EVE WTF?!?!?!?!

Yes, tank Eve. It does work.
I'm not saying that ap Eve is bad, its just that she is incredabily squishy and is always a target in team fights. Also, if they get an oracles, ap Eve's days are over.
With Tank Eve, while the oracles does still hurt, it is not as impactful. Eve if they catch you, you can run away pretty easily. Tank Eve still has good amount of burst, due to the Sheen then later, Trinity force. Yet, the enemy team, has to waste alot of time and skills to take tank eve down. They might as well ignore you, which would be a huge mistake.

Please try at least a couple of games before rating this build. Just because its new doesn't mean its horrible.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
-Not Squishy
-Good Burst
-As a roamer, at least two lanes are solo
-More time for the ultimate to proc (Which makes it harder for you to die)
-Nice ganking early game due to roaming

Cons:
-Less burst than ap Eve
-Doesn't start roaming untill level three
-As you are roaming, you will often be underleveled

Summoner Spells

Exhaust: This is used to secure the kill. Use it right after you stun the champion so that your laners can catch up to the enemy.
Ignite: Also used to secure the kill. Use it right after the stun.

Other choices
Smite: Used so that you can jungle in between transitions of lanes. Or you can use it to try to steal buffs from the enemy jungler.
Flash: This can be used to escape or to catch an escaping champion. It is up to you.

Skills


Non-neutral minions only deal 50% damage to Evelynn

This skill is pretty good for the ganking that will go on early game, as you will gank normally in a group of enemy minions. Otherwise, this skill is not that great


Instantly spikes the closest enemy unit with malevolent energy, dealing (25/40/55/70/85 plus 0.28of ability power) magic damage and 50% damage to a secondary nearby target. Costs 12/15/18/21/24 manna per use. 0.8 second cooldown.

This skill is maxed last as it is very mana-consuming. However, we get one pont in this at level 5 so we can proc the Sheen when attacking an enemy


Evelynn fades away, becoming stealthed ofr 10/20/30/40/50 secs. 1.5 sec delay on stealth (delayed further by damage). Evelynn's next attack or damage ability will stun her target for 1/1.25/1.50/1.75,2 secs ending her Shadow Walk. Evelynn can cast Shadow Walk while stealthed to destealth. Mana cost: 60. Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8

This is the skill that defines Evelynn. Rank one in this skill is too short, thats why the roaming starts at level 3, when stealth is rank 2. Be careful that the stealth doesn't run out in the middle of the enemy.


Deals (80/135/190/255/320 plus 1 per ability power) magic damage to target unit and it reduces the target's armor and magic resistance by 10/14/18/22/26 for 5 seconds. Cooldown: 9secs. Mana cost: 90/105/120/135/150

Use this skill to start the gank always. The decrese is armour and magic resist is substanial early game. It can mean the difference between a kill and a enemy that ran away. This skill is maxed first to maximize damage early game as you do not have much.


(Passive): Each time Evelynn scores a kill or assist she regains 350/500/650 health.
(Active): Evelynn gains 50/75/100% attack speed and 20/25/30% movement speed for 10 seconds (non-stacking, can cast while stealthed). Malice and Spite's cooldown refreshes every time an enemy champion dies. Cooldown 90secs. No cost.


This skill is what also defines Eve. Especially tank Eve, everytime she regains health, shes harder to kill. She recovers health everytime someone she damaged within 10secs dies. The active part is also a huge offensive steroid. As there is no cost, use it everytime you know someone will die because you will get it back. You can also use it to run away. If you get ganked, stealth and pop the ult.

Masteries

The defensive tree is used to get the maximum potential from tank Eve. It makes it so much harder to take down Eve early game. Eve is always the priority for the other team to harras, so the masteries help counter this.
The rest is put into the offensive tree to get the magic penetration for the ravage and later, Hate Spike.

Items

Start off with boots of speed and three health pots . This item set prepares you for the roaming that starts when you hit level three. Everytime you recall, buy one or two health pots, untill you get your two tanky items.

Now, rush Sheen . This item gives a huge boost in damage for Eve. The gold should be easy to get with all the ganking you should have been doing as a roamer. (More later)

From here, finish the boots into boots of mobility . This makes ganking much easier. If the other team has more that 3 cc champions, get Mercury's Treads .

A SUNFIRE CAPE?!?!?! This item is by far one of the best tanky items on eve. It gives very nice boosts to health and armour. Also, this items helps in team fights. It might not do too much damage, but if an enemy dies, you get an assist for that, which refreshs your ultimate(which you should have popped) and gives you health.

Banshee's Veil is next on the list. This item gives a nice boost towards magic resist, health and mana. The spell shield is also very nice.

After, your two tanky items, it is now time to finsih the trinity force . After you buy this items, Tank Eve becomes godly. She is faster, has even more health, can slow enemys and has the Sheen proc.

Guardian Angel should be next on the list. This item gives nice boosts towards magic resist and armour. Also the reveive every five minuutes is priceless.

WHY NO SIXTH ITEM?!?!?!

If the game isn't over(which it should, whether you get a loss or a win), the last item is situational. By now, we can afford to get some ability power, but still tanky items is priority. If more armour is needed, get a Zhonya's Hourglass . If you need magic resist, get an Abyssmal SpecterAbyssmal Specter. Or, if you think you are tanky enough, get a Rabadon's Deathcap

Early Game

Before the game starts, make sure that your laner can sustain the lane after you start roaming.
After that, go to a lane. Don't try harrassing much, you will only lose more health than they did. Just focus on the last hits and make note of the health of all the enemy champions. Once you hit level three, let the roaming begin!

How to roam

Many of you could be unfamiliar to raoming. It is the act of ganking... constantly. You will to try to gank everywhere, wheather is top lane, middle lane, bottom lane, or their jungler.
To gank, alert your teamate, stealth in the brush, stun the enemy, and try to take them down.
You can also go to their jungler and try to steal their buffs. Wait until they get it low then steal it.

NOTE* It is not a fail gank if they used a summoner spell to get away. It makes it much easier to gank afterwards.

Mid Game

This is when the tean fights are starting to take place. By now, you should have a Sheen and maybe Boots of Mobility. Still try ganking,as much as possible, but be on alert now. The enemy team might have gotten an oracles. If your not ganking, you should be farming in a lane where you have no allies. Those minions should be going to someone else if possible.

Late game

This is when every single fight is a team fight. By now both tanky items should have be obtained. Also the other team should have an oracles at all times. If they don't, continue to play like you've done before. If they do, be careful. Resist the idea of walking by yourself. Even though you are tanky, if they focus you, you will die.
When a team fight occurs, ignore everyone else and stun, exhast and attack the carry. Use your ulitame. It doesn't matter if you don't attack the other people. Why? Beause of , you will get assists with the passive AoE. Be a nuisance at every team fight. Make them have to divide their attention, then you will the fights.

Tips

Here are some tips of playing Eve.
1) If you are low, heres a trick. If you press stealth and then immediately press recall, you will start recalling in the stealth transition phase. Thus, you recall in stealth.
2) Remember that your stealth can be delayed up to 5 secs if you are under attack.
3) Just remember that if you have a Sunfire, if you follow them in stealth, they can see your debuff.
4) Just because you are tanky does not mean that you are unkillable. Just, very hard to kill

I know that most people would disagree, but with tank Eve you will still have fun.
