Guide Top

Introduction

(passive): Helpful when you decide to jungle or sit at tower with life steal. Helps recover hp faster. Mind you it not as awesome as Garen's passive.

: This skill is only every useful when trying to get a double kill on two champions trying to run away. This skill should only be used to chase someone on low hp or when you want to run away..
Note that this is your 1st escape mechanism and is only useful as such when monsters or creeps are nearby.

: The only reliable damage skill on Fiora (besides ultimate). This skill parries one PHYSICAL attack (no skills). This skill should always be used when off of the cool down. This skill should too be saved for when you are possibly about to die and enter a stalemate (both of you are about to die) you pop this skill and their next attack kills them. This has already happened so many times for me, its quite fun to see!

: This skill is also a good skill on its on. Though it doesn't give you any attack damage. Its definitely one of the top skills that gives you the most attack speed ( even over Xin Zhao). Your attack speed will jump from 1.0 to 1.9 (somewhere around those numbers exactly). This skill should always be activated in encounter because it acts as you second escape mechanism (because the increase in movement speed on every attack up to 3 times).

: An amazing skill at any level. But I suggest this skill to be a single target only (make sure only one enemy is around) at level one. At level two this skill can be used on multiple targets (without noticeable damage loss). This skill should only be used in team fights when multiple targets are near death or when you are being focused (you are no longer targetable for the duration of this skill and have dodged death). This skill also has a long cool down so use wisely. Id also say that you can use this skill to dive towers for a kill and use Lunge to escape from the tower without being hit. Riposte can also be used just in case they try and attack you.

Pros:



Nice attack speed without needing attack speed items.
Cannot be targeted during ultimate
Attack damage bonuses
Great movement speed
No mana issues
Can jungle


Cons:



Not good against stuns and knock ups (Riven)
Not good vs long range/mages
Long cool down on ultimate

Runes

Critical Chance Runes



Greater Mark of Critical Chance
Greater Seal of Critical Chance

I decided to use these runes because I felt it was useless to have an Atma's Impaler and possibly a Phantom Dancer and not have enough critical to hit critical strikes more often then usual, so I got these runes to help with that.


Jungle Runes

Greater Mark of Desolation
Greater Seal of Armor
Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction
Greater Quintessence of Desolation

In the jungle you can easily survive everything thrown your way, but ganking lanes are tough because Fiora is more of a late game champion, so having the armor and cool down runes sorta help with moving through the jungle faster. Its definitely nice to start out with more armor in the beginning to stack with the Wriggle's Lantern

Vs. long range tip

People may not instantly realize this..or think about it until after a few games or so. But Fiora is a nice early games anti-poker. Mainly because when you in a lane against someone, and you move in to possibly attack a creep, you instantly give away your ability to defend yourself. But with Fiora you can run in cast your Riposte and someone will usually attack you out of instinct. After that occurs run back to prevent more damage (rinse and repeat). Hopefully you come out with no damage taken everytime, while the enemy receives however much damage + creep damage for however long they are close to battle)

Jungling

In the Jungle you can use a typical route. With Duelist you can survive easier then some other champions would in the jungle.

Starting at the Blue Buff> Wolves> Wraiths> Golems>
Repeat
At level 9 you should have Wriggle's Lantern and either blue or red buff.
With this you can easily solo the dragon at 9.

Items

:
Good starting item, useful with her Duelist(passive), allows her to stay in lane longer. Also good a good to start with while jungling.

:
Fiora is quite fast with and without the boots (382) with the these boots..So I held off on getting my second level boots to get my The Bloodthirster

-Core items-



:
This item is beyond useful, ending a game with 3.6k health. It gives you the survivability to withstand another ad carries (like Tryndamere and Talon).

:
Very important for Fiora, seeing as though she is a close range physical attack champion is it good to have the stacks because ones she gets them. Along with the Wargon's Armor it will become near impossible to stop her.

:
Great with the Warmog's Armor because it also provides armor along with the physical damage and critical strike (if building with the critical runes this will net you with over 60% critical strike which is great).

-Situational-



:
Good to help fend off from mages if the enemy team has a lot.


Good as a replacement for Warmog's Armor to helps with survivability and a nice slow to help with the escaping

:
This for your survivability vs hard ad carries. Thornmail works well with Atma's Impaler because of the armor they both provide.

:
You can use Guardian Angel for those times when you slip up or team fights start and you don't have your Blade Waltz ready. Guardian Angel will also help with Mercury's Treads to fend off from the mages who want to focus you!


For when the enemy team just has too many tanky champions, because it may seem overwhelming, though the attack speed boost on Burst of Speed does help!
