Game over in a blink of an eye (ap Katarina)

Introduction.

I am a huge fan of Katarina.

This build focuses itself on Kat's best pro: Killing with AP!
I think that the basic aspects of the build will help everyone in LoL, so everyone from Lvl 1 to 30, enjoy this build of the sinister blade of Noxus

Pros/Cons.

PROS + A good set of abilities + Multi-ulti + No mana + Good ganker + Good harrassing

SPACE

CONS -item dependant -easy interupted ulti -no great cc -at the begin not the best farmer

masteries.

Summoner's Wrath is very nice for the begin because it gives (after using ignite) 5ad+ap which is very for the FB on an enemy.
Mental Force is the start to your ap masteries and gives good beginning ap.
Sorchery can really helps you to spam Shunpo and Bouncing Blade early, will Arcane Knowledge penetrate that annoying MR.
Havoca full havoc will give at the end when shunpo does around 700 DMG better bonus than Blast plus it will boost your basic attacks.
Blast gives you 0,75 ap per level which gives at the end 0,75 X 18 = 13,5 ap which is really nice.
Archmage is a great ap boost end game.
executionor is a great finishing tool.
Hardiness & Resistance are for extra begin survivability.
Durability is for a little more survivability end game.
Improved Recall: This can save your life and you're faster by your own base

Runes.

main runes

Greater Mark of Insight: 0,95 magic penetration per rune is always welcome and early game you will be dominating with this.

Greater Seal of Vitality:I love this rune good hp at level 18 and useable for almost every champ(especially Kat).I'd only pîck 6 because I also want some more MR.

Greater Seal of Shielding: You can always leave this for the seal above this one but I think you also need some magic protection.

Greater Glyph of Celerity: You'll need more CDR and this gives it the best(for a no-quintesse rune). No need for explanation right?

Greater Quintessence of Swiftness: You'll need 400 ms in PvP and when there is no good ms% item for kat. is this the only solution. PICK ALWAYS ONE!

Greater Quintessence of Potency: The 4,95 AP is nice you get from this is nice especially in a combo with your desolation marks. but, only use this if you think your ms quintesse isn't necessary.

alternative options

Greater Mark of Destruction: These runes are good for the hybrid player katarina becuase they give both armor penetration (1) & magic penetration(0,57).

Greater Seal of Defense: If you think armor is more necessay than MR, then replace your seals of shielding for these.

Greater Glyph of Force: When you think you have enough CDR, use this. It gives 3.06 ap at level 18 and 0.17 ap per level, which is 3 times more ap at lvl 18 than the flat ap glyphs.

Summoner Spells.

My choice

Flash: A standard issue for any who is lvl 12+. it can save your life with fleeing when there is no safe shunpo target or lets you jump invisble jump in a brush.
Ignite: Great for getting kills early and for later to stop those peksy healers.

good choices

Exhaust: I don't use this becuase I like ignite more. but feel free to use it.
Ghost: Great tool for chasing/fleeing but i like flash better for it. Greatly recommended for beginning pvpr's because it can save your life very easy.
Teleport: Great for good map control and aiding teamfights (2v2 turns in 3v2 which grants you easier kills).

I strongly Recommend to use only these spells

viable choices

Heal: There are better spells, but this build is also for new lol players, who might need it.

Surge: This gives extra ap, which might give you the needed extra ap that ensures the kill.

Cleanse: Only good vs a heavy cc team.

DON"T EVER TAKE

Clarity: Kat doesn't have any MANA!

Skills.

:Voracity(passive):25 extra gold on a ***sist or kill nice^^. and 15 seconds cooldown reduction on all abilities (this make your ulti spammable).

:Bouncing blade fair farming ability it benefits from bonus ad and ap what makes farming easier. It is also nice to harrass champs early. This works especially good If you are in a lane with a support
Quick note: each subsequent hit deals 10% less, unless killer instincts is toggled

Leveling: Max this first for good early game harassment

Killer instincts: I admit it, this is Kat's throwawy spell. Not because it is bad, the other spells are just better. But it gives passivly bonus damage with basic attacks (not visible, like on-hit something). On activation, when you cast a Bouncing Blade, you'll mark each target with a 50% healing reduction for 5 seconds and each target takes 100% damage. When you use Killer Instincts on Shunpo, you'll take less damage for 3 seconds.

Leveling: Spend 1 point it when lvl 3 and max it last.

shunpo: this is free flash!!!! this can save your life or end the one of the enemy.This can be used on a enemy or ally. You teleport to a target (deals damage to enemies). if there is anyone in range you can shunpo to it, what makes Kat great for ganks.

Leveling: Take 1 point on it in level 2, max it second

death lotus: Kata spins for 3 secs and throws 30 daggers (max. 10 on a single champ)and deals nice damage with each one. Try to use this as a finisher and voractiy cleans 15 secs of your ulti and refershes your other abilties. And then you can hunt further with Shunpo and Bouncing Blade.

Leveling: Level this up at 6,11,16

Boots, which should I take?

1st. Ionian Boots of Lucidity These boots are in my opinion the best boots for Kat. Use these 90% percent of the time, beacuase it is good for the whole game. The 15% CDR let cast your abilities quickly earlier and later even to make you ulti more spammable! + Good CDR + Useable for the whole game + Cheapest boots of the 3 choices - May leave you squishy, because you don't get any kind of damage or protection from it

SPACE

2nd. Sorcerer's Shoes This recommadation from the lol crew isn't bad either but, there are 3 reasons why I don't these. 1. You don't have any mana, so spam your abilities. 2. There are better magic penetration items for Kat. 3. The ionian boots are cheaper (I'm dutch, we like cheap stuff!) + early good damage output. - there are a good MP items later in my build. -late in the game less effective.

SPACE

3rd. Mercury's Treads: This Item is great against heavy cc teams. Pick this item only if the half(or more) enemy team is a heavy CC champ. Because this item gives tenacity and and Mr you'll have more survivabilty in the early game. + Good for the whole game against cc + Extra MR for more survivability - Only good if the enemy is a cc team.

Core Items

Rylai's crystal scepter: Gives 500 hp, 80 ap and a passive: 35% slow (3 sec.) after a hit with a single-target ability and 15% (also 3 sec.) slow with a multi-target ability.
I'd pick this item as first legendary item to give hp bar a boost and to get some cc powers, while I don't give up on any ap.

rabodons deathcap rabadons deathcap: Gives 140 ap + the passive that the you get 30% bonus AP of your total AP. If you have a normal game (not OP/underfed) you'll able to get this item around the 20-30 minute count. This item helps you to dominate the mid-game and you'll be able to pulverize your enemies!

hextech gunblade: Gives 40 DMG, 15% lifesteal, 70 ap, 20% spell vamp and a active that deals magic damage(300) and slows the target for 50% (3 seconds). At the end you cant heal only from your 15% spell vamp from Hextech Revolver, so you must upgrade it! I say that this is the right choice because in my opinion is lifesteal in the end the best way of healing.

abyssal scepter: Gives 70 ap and 57 MR. and a passive that reduces 20 MR of all nearby Enemy creatures. This is nice for its price, but i'll only pick it for the MR.

zhonya's hourglass: Same as above, but with armor. Gives 100 ap and 50 armor. the item is expensive becuase of the active. The active gives for 2 seconds invulnerabilty but it immobilisez you. this has a 90 sec cooldown.

At the end of the core item build you'll be a great mage/offtank.

Alternative items

Void staff: If your enemy stacks a lot of MR, replace one of the defensive items (depends on how the attack style of your enemies is). Or use it when you like it more ;)

Moonflair spellblade: If you don't want to lose your CDR but when you still want tenacity.
this item gives 35 tenacity and 50 ap, which can be a little bit ap, but it is very cheap(only 1200).

Mejai's SoulstealerMejai's soustealer: If you are getting fed in a game, you'll need this. it gives the most ap in the game, but only when high-stacked. So only buy it when you are really fed

Deathfire grasp: When you are not using the ionian boots use this one. It gives you the same CDR as the ionian boots, and a nice 60 ap + an nice active (Deals magic damage to target champion equal to 30% of their current health (+3.5% per 100 ability power) with a minimum of 200 damage) with a 1 minute cooldown

Will of the acients: Use this when you don't take the hextech gunblade. This item is cheaper and gives more on the magic aspect (+10 ap, 5% spell vamp and a aura). But no ad powers or an active.

Guinsoo's rageblade: A nice hybrid item, only buy this when you're playing hybrid and in combination with the Hextech Gunblade

Morello's evil tome: gives good ap + cdr for a good price. but only buy this if you don't take cdr boots or cdr runes.

Guardian angel: I just think that this item is good for every champ.
