Hello this is my first guide and how i build Hecarim. I think he is a very fun champion to play and has great potential.

Pros
+Extremely mobile
+Great damage
+Decent sustain
+Almost immune to ganks
+Amazing Crowd control with ult

Cons
-Long cooldowns other then Rampage
-Easily outranged
-Shut down with CC

I take seal of armor x 9 on almost anyone. It adds a small amount to your overall tankiness.
Glyph of amgic resist will also add to your tankiness and the cooldown reduction seems to be msot useful on hecarim.
Hecarims passive warpath gives him bonus attack damage based on movement speed so the quintessence help out with that.
The attack damage is self explanatory

Rampage is your main source of damage which is why you want to max it first. It is also very helpful for farming. Spirit of Dread can be the deciding factor in a 1v1. It heals you a bit while doing damage. It is great to use while farming minions just to heal up a bit. Devastating Charge is useful but barely does any damage. The main thing you will be using it for is initiating or getting away near death. Since it does little damage you want to max this last. Then of course take Onslaught of Shadows at level 6, 11, and 16.

A must on every hecarim, all your damage comes from this.

35% CC reduction, what else is there to say?

Gives you the armor and health you need as well as a small amount of damage around you

Gives the one of the highest ammounts of armor in the game + a lot of health. Perfect for tanky

Some extra damage and gives you better escape or chase with its active.

This item is not regularly bought but its active adds to your speed and helps your team as well.

If you need MR, choose this item. It provides greater healing effects which helps your

I generally don't go for this item but if you still need more magic resist, take it.

Only take this if their teams main damage is physical damage. It can be really helpful with the cool down reduction but also useless against the wrong opponents.

As a Hecarim your main job is to take alot of the damage while CCing their team. It is best to have your ult up in any team fight and land it on as much people as possible. This will terrify their team and give your team the opportunity to win the fight.

Hecarim is a very strong and extremely mobile champion if you can master him. He can have a big impact on a team fight if used correctly. As long as you play him correctly, he can crush almost any top laner. I hope i helped :)
