Champion Info

Lux is a very strong mage with supportive abilities that can help your team immensely and dominate enemies when played right.

Runes

I do tend to cling on to Greater Seal of Scaling Health just that little extra HP is really helpful in my opinion. Greater Mark of Magic Penetration these should be on any AP caster (Akali is the one exception). Greater Glyph of Ability Power (you can also get a few MR blues if you want) and Greater Quintessence of Ability Power.

A good trick you can do by taking Summoner's Wrath is if you notice when ignite is ON cool down you gain AP and AD so if you are about to go in for a kill, start out by igniting him then you will have more AP and AD for your abilities,

Lux releases a sphere of light in a line, dealing magic damage to the first enemy it touches and half that damage to a second nearby unit. Additionally, the first unit struck is snared for 2 seconds, and the second unit for 1 second.

Lux shields herself for up to 3 seconds and throws out her wand to a target location, applying the same shield to friendly champions in its path. Her wand then returns to her, again shielding friendly champions and Lux herself upon touching it.

Lux sends an anomaly of twisted light to a target area, revealing it and slowing enemies within for up to 5 seconds. At the end of the duration or if Lucent Singularity is activated again, the zone will detonate and deal magic damage to enemies in the area.

After gathering energy for half a second, Lux will fire a broad and long-range beam of light in a line that will instantly deal magic damage to all enemies in the area. Any enemies that already have the Illumination debuff have it ignited for magic damage, then re-applied.

Combos
Your first combo is, Q-E-Auto-E-Auto, hitting your binding will trigger your passive which leaves a mark and when broken deals magic damage to the enemy it is on, after the mark is gone, reactivate you E leaving another mark and auto attack to destroy it again. This combo is great for early game harass.

Your second and final combo is, Q-E-R-Auto-E-Auto. Using your Ultimate with your passive on an enemy deals INSANE damage then try to auto attack and reactivate you E then auto attack once more if the enemy is not already dead.

Farming

When farming mid game, right before the minion wave hits the middle of the lane, throw out your E to slow the melee creeps, then let it explode, try to let your E sit so that it hits the melee and the ranged creeps, then destroy the marks with auto attacks. Very good and quick way to farm the lane.
