Hi there. I'm KesshouRyuu. This is my first guide I've made and I'm glad to share with you my knowledge of Luxanna. Please be sure to check the notes of the build above. Lux is a crazy girl and the definition of the word "Lux" means blasting and spamming a giant laser all over the map. Although her Q, W and E have relatively long cooldowns, she makes up for it by having an ult with a minimum of 24 second cooldoown and does crazy damage. Throughout her life on Leage of Legends, she has pretty much only been buffed with "nerfs" I'd rather call "tweaks" or "bug fixes". Check them out on Lux's wikia page under background and it will give patchnotes!

+AoE spell for farming
+Fun to use
+Shield your allies
+Shield is refreshed when it hits you
+Can check bushes with ult or E
-Relatively long cooldowns on all non-ult spells
-Mana hungry early game when spamming spells
-Cage is skillshot
-Targeted when they see you are fed

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist
Summoner's Wrath : The extra AP helps while your ignite is on CD.
Sorcery : Lux's moves (besides ult) relatively have long CD. Put 3 points into it.
Blast : It's... well... mehh... 18AP by level 18 isn't much but it's needed for next tier.
Havoc : I used to think this only applied to autoattacks but I was a noob then. 2% doesn't sound like much but it's nice and goes well with Executioner to a nice 7% extra damage with people under 50% health which gives you a nice ult strength.
Arcane Knowledge : An incredible mastery. 8% MPen goes nice with your Greater Mark of Magic Penetration to give you a nice starting damage with their relatively low MR. As of S3, % MPen is calculated before flat penetration which can only benefit us because it's now easier (or possible) to reach true damage (or more) on your moves.
Mental Force : It gives a nice 6AP to start with which will help you with your early harrasment.
Spellsword : 5% isn't much but it's needed for next tier and will help with autoattacking minions.
Archmage : A great mastery which will bump up your Rabadon's Deathcap to 30% AP increase, not to mention you have the extra 5% free from the begining.
Executioner : They try to run away with less than 50% HP? Let's blast lasers up their a** while they run away. This will give you more damage on your ult (or any attack for that matter).
Durability : Nothing much but better than anything else on that tier and needed for next tier.
Hardiness and Resistance : Put 4 points (no more) into either one. Gives a nice amount of survivability.
Veteran's Scars : Gives a nice starting survivability plus the extra 6HP from Durability at lvl 1.
