Welcome to my Nunu Dominion guide!
Dominion is as the most you noticed a new gamemode for League of Legends with new priorities.
The focus doesn't rely anymore on kills, the focus rely on capturing and defending turrets and chasing for buffs and quests. Please note, that this guide is still under construction and only published to deliver you a way to play Nunu in Dominion. Anyways read and test the guide before you vote.

The most important factor in Dominion is movementspeed. Nunu can buff an ally and himself with movementspeed and slow enemies, what improves your whole mobility and result in better chasing, capturing and defending. Also his Q give him the ability to stay on the lane or at a tower very long, while his passive give him free casts. The ultimate is amazing to save chased teammates, defend towers or a ambush from the brushs. And in the end you can eat . ^^

This boots grant you the ability to catch the turret at top and to have the maximum of mobility on the map. You could alternatively start with , if you defend bot lane. At this point thanks to NicholasRoss' idea.


Increase your health and manapool and give you a nice ap bonus. Anyways it give you more lanedurability.


A pretty underrated item on Nunu. It buff your damage a little and imensively raise your selfheal especially for your .


You feel that the enemies have just too much hard cc? Then just pick up this item ;)


It sucks, that isn't avaiable for Dominion, what makes using of much harder. In compensation Odyn's Veil will absorb 10%! of your received magic damage and save it. You can release the saved damage to damage nearby enemies, like a second ultimate. Anyways it will deal up to ~50%! of the damage, that your ultimate deals. So Odyn's Veil raise your durability and your dealt damage extremely. You shouldnt get much more magic resistance than 100, else the absorbation doesnt matter alot and storing up this item may last too long. But if the enemies team has mostly magic damage you should get another magic resistance item.

Additional it will boost your armor, mana and reduce the attackspeed of nearby enemies, what makes you tanky in the end. Synergise greatly with . 45% Attackspeedreduction!

Since has been removed the only useful alternative to get a minighost is Shurelya's Reveri. It's brilliant to chase enemies with your team, escaping or rushing to take over/ defend turrets. Additional it provides alot health and manaregen, health and cooldownreduction.

Hextech Sweeper
More mapawareness highly recommend? Then take this item! Besides it will also boost your health, ap and cooldownreduction a lil bit.


Sunfire provides armor, health and amazing passive damage. 35 magic damage per second to nearby enemies what may deal up to 175 dps in a teamfight.


This is the best anti caster item in this game. It provides 76 magic resistance, 8% movementspeed, 40 health regeneration and % regeneration per second, let's say FoN restores ~ 100 health points every 5 seconds. But in my opinion this item can't beat .


You fear an ad carry or the enemies team deal mainly physical damage? Then pick up this item! 100 armor and reflect some of your received physical damage.


Who doesn't hate them? AD carrys can be terrible for you and your team in the lategame. If your team isn't able to nuke them away, then suppress them to the limit! Together with and you will get 80%! ae attackspeedreduction for a couple of seconds.


Health, armor, magic resitance and damage, also some for your nearby teammates. Just a amazing item for it's price. My favourite item to get some tankiness.


AP, magic resitance and some kind of magic penetration. Reduce the enemies magic resistance, what increase your damage and the damage of your allies and increase your durability towards other casters.


Very underrated anticaster item. The active will remove all debuffs from you. And many ultimates are included like and .


Many guys hate this item and call this a noobitem. In my opinion every tank need a backbone earlier or later. Stacking health without armor and magic resistance is stupid, also if you need stacks for this item, what is hard to get in Dominion. Therefor isn't avaiable in this map.
