This is my version of Irelia solo top. please give me your feed-back whether it be good or bad. dont forget to rate and comment :D
Also that damn lulu patch was annoying as **** but Irelia is still viable through and through
spectator mode patch helped a bit after lulu patch
Base health increased to 546 from 515.
Health per level increased to 90 from 85.
Base health regen per 5 increased to 7.5 from 6.5.
Base damage increased to 59.3 from 56.3.

Pros / Cons
can get out of most cc with passive
can farm at tower super easy(my opinion)

only fits in certain team comps because of lulu patch
she is buffed and nerfed a lot :P(too much if u ask me)
well armor pen no longer works, now you will have to build like M5 did there shyvana agaisnt tsm and go flat ad marks :P
flat armor is the way to go here, not really any other option here
ok glyphs will usually grab magic resist per level just for extra defense late game. If see some heavy aps like mordekasier, Kennen, and Akali in my lane I switch to flat.
ok well quents since lulu patch was slight devastating to her sustain so now it is almost viable to go life steal quents, but other wise you have to get flat ad quents and run her same as an ad carry page :P
i have not found any other rune page that fits her more then what i listed sorry if you dont like it but thats what i found to be the best
The skills them selfs
passive - Innate: Reduces the duration of stuns, slows, taunts, fears, snares, immobilizes, blinds and silences for each nearby enemy champion.
1 Champion: 10%
2 Champions: 25%
3 Champions: 40%
Radius: 1200 (sight range)
this is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ****ing op its not even funny, especially combo'ed with Mercury's Treads.
(Active): Irelia dashes forward to strike her target, dealing physical damage. This applies on-hit effects. If it kills the target, Bladesurge's cooldown refreshes and refunds 35 mana.
Cost: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 mana
Cooldown: 14 / 12 / 10 / 8 / 6 seconds
Physical Damage: 20 / 50 / 80 / 110 / 140 (+1.0 per attack damage)
This is very useful for farming and getting close to your enemies. use it wisely it has a 14 second cool down at level 1.
(Passive): Irelia's autoattacks restore health to her.
Health Restored: 10 / 14 / 18 / 22 / 26
(Active): Irelia's autoattacks deal additional true damage for 6 seconds.
Cost: 40 mana
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Infinite sustain + a bucket full of true damage
(Active): Irelia pierces her target, dealing magic damage and slowing the target by 60% for a few seconds. If the target has a higher health % than Irelia, she stuns the target for the duration instead.
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 mana
Magic Damage: 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 (+0.5 per ability power)
Duration: 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 second(s)
use this to suprize the people you are facing and make them scream!
(Active): Irelia summons 4 spirit blades which she can fire individually in a straight line to deal physical damage to enemies they pass through, and she heals for 25% of that damage vs champions and 10% vs minions.
Cost: 100 mana
Cooldown: 60 / 50 / 40 seconds
Physical Damage Per Blade: 80 / 120 / 160 (+0.5 per ability power) (+0.6 per bonus attack damage)
Maximum Physical Damage to one target: 320 / 480 / 640 (+2.0 per ability power) (+2.4 per bonus attack damage)
this dosnt seem to do much, but make sure u point it at a minion wave and you will have the upper hand in any 1v1 fight.
MAsterying the masteries
well, movement speed isn't the best option anymore like i had it, so now i just go all for defensive masteries going 0/23/7, this provides all the damage reduction needed to survive team fights and get through laning faze
those spells that you as a summoner cast, not the champion
] well this is hands down my favorite spell for all situations.
Pros - dodge skill shots
get away from that nasty champion who just ganked you
get just enough distance to get that Bladesurge off
GO THREW THAT WALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons - always the chance of fail flash
this will help you and your jungler get the kill when him/her gank your lane

not this motha-***** is so useful it just adds so much True damage you are best true damage dealer in game(not sure if true but im pretty damn positive you will be)
Pros - TRUE TRUE TRUE DAMAGE
kill them as you recall in the grass
Cons - you are only dealing true damage, not the best against healthy champs
you move fast, like sonic and rammus
Pros - chase down some one
run to a team fight
run away from someone
can take golems and run back to lane
Cons - longer CD
this allows you to B if you are getting hurrased alot or just simply getting killed, i used to think this was not viable but after watching some people play shen, i realized that it could be viable on Irelia
Pros - Your turret wont die
you can gank anywhere on the map
Cons - Its CD ***** on you!

well one way to learn how to farm is to go into a custom game and actually farm against bots(sounds stupid doesn't it?) well don't blow it off try it, see how many you get in 20:00 minutes, if you dont get at least 180 you need more practice farming bro!
remember that farming is the most important thing in the game!
my high score for CS is 203 at 20:00 can you beat it? if not try again!
Ward placement and why you buy them
hehe wards win games, dont believe me? then why do pros buy 1-2 every b? well because it stops ganks, help you steal there jungle camps, also give you control over your jungle
here is a top lane ward guide if you want it, light blue is if your on blue side, purple for purple side. the squares are for warding if your not used to looking on your map every few seconds, the circles are for more advanced ward placement (took me a whole 1 minute to copy the image, crop it and add circles N` squares! D:<)
Them items, maybe you should buy emm :D
early game goals
amlost always grab + 3
it helps you sustain until your first b. on your first back i like to have enough to finish my boots and get a ward and more pots. from then i start thinking about if i need a Vampiric Scepter or other items like Aegis of the Legion Frozen Mallet Trinity Force sometimes even gold per 10 items like Philosopher's Stone or Heart of Gold. also remember you may not always win your lane, besides you are just there to farm and carry your team late game
Mid Game Stuufs
this is where you have to start buy items to face not just your lane, but their entire team.
Also this is usually where every irelia just spams the good O'ld trinity force, yeah this is ok but it only really gives u damage, what if your team looses these team fights because they cant survive? this is what i call lane irelia, but i personally build team irelia, she buys items like Warmog's Armor and becomes the tank, Aegis of the Legion and makes her team power through team fights, and also picks a Shurelya's Reverie to make sure you escape the fights you cant win. This is the Irelia i play the one that plays best to my knowledge.

Team fightssssssssssssssss(in my opinion)
alrighty team fights can be tricky and complicated, and 1 second can make all the difference. THE NUMBER 1 RULE FOR TEAM-FIGHT IRELIA "Do not be a ***********ing *****". If u charge in all cc will be wasted on you and your team will melt them down!
Depending on how tanky/healthy you have become in your item choices, there are different roles you must play as Irelia.
If you are the most tanky person on your team when the first team gathering starts go ahead and with your teams permission initiate that old team fight everyone keeps raving about. after you start the ***** try and soak up a lot of damage and slow the bruisers and tanks down from reaching your carries. BUT if u are not the most tanky person your job as a bruiser is to rape there carries to hell and back or protect yours if you get attacked first.
now make sure you use your Ionian Fervor + Mercury's Treds (and masteries)to kite like no other, with thier entire team around you debuffs last about 1/2 as long, meaning Galio ult? walk out of it, Amumu ult? run away with your team dead, WW ult? nope its all gone in 1/2 the time as normal.
ok this part is about how to counter certain champs
Gangplank - you may want to get cloth armor and 5 pots, but dont let him intimidate you, hes not scary. Ninja Tabi is key to rape him up his pooper, also watch out for Sheen Infinity Edge
Renekton - hurts really bad levels 1 - until your first buy, but always falls off, dont 1v1 him lvl 6 will loose keep this match up at your turret ward tri bush and/or red buff brush to make sure you dont get dived
Mord - ask your jungler to gank and gank often, his mid game is nearly unstoppable in lane Null-Magic Mantle + Health Potion make Wit's End your first item
Akali - cough* cough* magic resist cough* health pots cough* Null-Magic Mantle + Health Potion, also ask your jungler to gank often
Cho'Gath - use q to escape his auto attack and all of his spells, hurras alot early game make sure he is really low when he hits lvl 6 once lvl 6 happens just farm against him you wont kill him. do not get a Trinity Force against him
Nasus - dont 1v1 him in his aoe (derp) and after level 6 dont 1v1 him its a bad idea
Teemo - dont get cought in a never ending trial of shrooms where he can auto attack you to death trading with him is nearly impossible. do not fight him at the turret but keep him closer to your turret for ganks. he is pretty gankable early ask for ganks
Udyr - his mana bar is his what he can do bar, he can trade with you early, but a quick Ninja Tabi poops on him a bit. again fight this one at the turret
Kennen - ap kennen you loose sorry bro dont play Irelia against him. but Ad kennen Ninja Tabi and early Wit's End shuts him down pretty easily. also use your Q to dodge his Q
