Pros / Cons
+ Lots of cc
+ Low mana cost (but still easy to get oom!)
+ Good to harass
+ Great initiator
+ The lantern can save your allies/ADC but it's also good for the jungle r to start a gank
+ Passive is improving your armor
+ Through the S4 patch: More Gold for the support(you)!
- Low mobility
- At the beginning very squishy
- Enemies can flash over your ulti or just wait in there until it is over
- Your W has a high cooldown. Don't waste it!
I take the Mark of Armor and Seals of Armor because Thresh is very squishy at the beginning. You'll need to collect soules to get tanky.
Glyph of Magic Resist against the enemy AP carry. Not necessarily needed but I like to have it.
The Quints of Gold are always good for a support.
I recommend to use Flash and Exhaust but you can also choose Flash and Clairvoynce.
