Twisted Fate Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Welcome everyone to my DPS Twisted Fate build. Many people says that AD TF is nonsense. Okay so tell why so many people is still playing AD style? The answer is : IT'S FUN!
Everyone has saw so many Tf's who were just feeding. With guide I'll try to help people how to NOT to feed and how to help for your team. Here theres a proof that this build works:
So pick a card!
Twisted Fate: Cons and Pros
Let's start with PROS and CONS
Not mana hungry
Great map awareness
Best backdoor/ganking character
Lacks of AD in early game
Slow (only 375 with Greaves)
This guide will help you to counter them.
The best choice I think is:
Flash and Ghost.
Because you can escape quickly, tower dive and etc.
Cleanse Great spell on TF
Exhaust Additional CC
DON'T PICK THESE:
Smite You are not jungling.
Revive Insane CD and makes you to look like noob.
Heal Lifesteal is better.
Clarity Blue card please.
Fortify Tank/support spell.
I think the best choice is to balance your stats with:
Greater Mark of Desolation since you are AAer additional DPS is good.
Greater Seal of Attack Speed again DPS
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist Survivability
Greater Quintessence of Health Again survivability.
These runes will increase your DPS and survivability.
Loaded Dice - Twisted Fate and his allies receive an additional 2 gold per kill.
It's you passive skill. This skill will help you to get some money a bit faster. To get Loaded Dice's maximum effect you should last-hit minions.
Wild Cards - Twisted Fate throws three cards, dealing damage to each enemy unit they pass through.
Throws three cards which deal 60/110/160/210/260 (+0.65) magic damage to each enemy unit they pass through.
Useless skill if you are AD TF. Mana waste.
Pick A Card - Twisted Fate chooses a magic card from his deck, and uses that for his next attack, causing bonus effects.
Cast once to shuffle the deck and again to choose your card, enhancing your next attack.
Blue Card deals 40/60/80/100/120 (+0.4) bonus magic damage and restores the bonus damage in mana to Twisted Fate.
Red Card deals 40/60/80/100/120 (0.4+) bonus magic damage to units around the target and slows their movement speed by 30/35/40/45/50%.
Gold Card deals half the bonus magic damage of Red and Blue Cards (+0.4) and stuns for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds.
This is your main skill as AD TF. This skills gives you stun-lock and AoE slow.
How to pick the card?
Gold card goes after Red.
Blue card goes after Gold.
Red card goes after Blue.
So if you have noticed that you will pick Red press W and you will pick Gold. Cards are changing very quickly.
Stacked Deck - Every 4 attacks, Twisted Fate deals bonus damage. In addition, his attack speed is increased and his cooldowns are decreased.
Passive: Every 4 attacks, Twisted Fate deals an additional 55/80/105/130/155 (+0.4) magic damage.
In addition, his attack speed is increased by 3/6/9/12/15% and his cooldowns are decreased by 3/6/9/12/15%.
This is another passive skill. As AA and AD Tf max this first. Whenwher you have 3 stacks pick a Gold card and stun them with some big amount of damage. During the stun you will be able to do some AA.
Destiny - Twisted Fate predicts the fortunes of his foes, revealing all enemy champions and enabling the use of Gate.
Reveals all enemy champions (including stealthed champions) for 6/6/6 seconds.
While Destiny is active, Twisted Fate can teleport anywhere on the map.
Your most important skill. This skill makes Twisted Fate to be Twisted Fate. This skill will help you to grab some kills and protect towers or reveal enemy plans. Great for ganking too.
You should get these items in every normal game.
It's anti-tank item. It maximizes Stacked Deck effect. Useful against Jax, Garen, Rammus, Shen and so on.
Same as Sword of the Divine.
It's helpful against tanky or Hp stacking champs such as Vladimir and Cho'Gath.
A great DPS item. You can use this instead of Phantom Dancer.
Against casters such as Malzahar, Karthus, Lux.
Against heavy AD team - Ashe, Master Yi, Nocturne.
So you have picked up Vampiric Scepter. So grab a stunning/support/tank mate and go to the lane. It's not good idea to mid unless your team has no strong AP champs. Don't lane with AD carries. It's stupid.
How to farm?
Last hitting minions with Blue card or with Stacked Deck. When you will have enough gold - get back. The best time to do that is at level 6. Grab your Berserker's Greaves and activate Destiny. Now lock your gold card, stack ypur deck (if you have counts) and gank! Gank squishies, not tanks unless their hp is low. Coordinate gank with allies. Remember- TF is very dependable on team. Harrasing: Stacked Deck- Pick A Card (gold only).
Mid game. You should already have B.F Sword and Zeal. Build The Bloodthirster and Phantom Dancer. In team fight be VERY CAREFUL! That means hit-hide. Only this way you will be alive. Unless you are fed.
Late game. Frozen Mallet and Infinity Edge. Gank-kill-push. Backdoor structures.
Ypu can do some jungling for example you need red buff.
Enemies and Allies
Imbue and Dazzle is great for you can curse for enemies.
Nevermove and Ravenous Flock with Gold will kill everyone.
Aegis of Zeonia, Heartseeker Strike , Gold Spear Shot = target is dead.
Sion's Cryptic Gaze is great stun especially when he is AP champ.
You won't kill this champ in melee fights because of his Wuju Style and Highlander.
His Blinding Dart and Toxic Shot will simply rape you.
His CH-1 Concussion Grenade and UPGRADE!!! is a bad combo for you.
So this is my Twisted Fate guide. I hope I helped you! Rate and comment. You can fell free to criticise this build.
