Off the top of my head I can see her do good against Shen because of all the ult cancels she has and the fact that shes too tanky for shen to really burst down, but thats about it.

 Shen has burst? o___oAnd Shens sometimes cancel the tele just because they only need to supply the shield. No point in leaving your lane when you can already guarantee a 1v1 with the shield.

I'm not going to hate on the idea of solo top
 Leona, because having a form of lane sustain isn't the only strategy for winning the lane. You can also factor natural tankiness, gank potential, poke, deny. All these things make up the different champions in-lane. :)

On Blu's side of it: This would work well if you have a gank jungler (not  Shyvana). Obviously also all she could do is support if you build it on her.On your side of it: I'm aware that she has low scaling, but good base damage and natural resistances, which makes her fit the support role perfectly, because she won't need as much gold to be useful, but having a lot of gold won't help much either. There's no need to shutdown someone's idea for it though. I even get bored of the "set-in-stone" meta sometimes and just try out other stuff. Why? Because I can. It could or could not work in ranked, but it's trying it out that is the fun part. :3

You can think solo-top Leona is strong all you want.
She has absolutely no damage at all and mobility at all.
She doesn't scale well with items either.
I've tried it before and it's a stupid idea. She'd get counter-picked by every single normal solo-top.
Make a guide if you want. I highly doubt a "good guide" could come from a couple of games of experience anyways.
