What are your thoughts about the new Cassiopeia?

P: Aspect of the Serpent
Cassiopeia permanently gains a stack of Aspect of the Serpent for each second that an enemy champion is poisoned, for each Poisoned units that she kills and whenever she hits an enemy champion with Twin Fang. A maximum of 400 stacks can be held, and grants different bonuses based on the current amount.
  • At 75 stacks: 5% increased ability power. Twin Fang now heals Cassiopeia for 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 16 (+10% AP)
  • At 200 stacks: 10% increased ability power and gains 25% cooldown reduction.
  • At 400 stacks: 30% increased ability power.

Q: Noxious Blast
  • New ability animation.
  • Total damage reduced to 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 (+35% AP) from 75 / 115 / 155 / 195 / 235 (+80% AP).
  • Movement speed rescalled to 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 % from 15 / 17.5 / 20 / 22.5 / 25%.
  • Cooldown increased to 4 seconds from 3.
  • Mana cost rescalled to 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 from 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 / 75.
  • Delay increased to 0.65 seconds from 0.6.

W: Miasma
  • Damage per second reduced to 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (+10% AP) from 25 / 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 (+15% AP).
  • Slow increased to 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 % from 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 %.
  • Cooldown reduced to 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 from 15 seconds at all ranks.
  • Mana cost reduced to 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 from 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 120.

E: Twin Fang
  • Damage reduced to 55 / 80 / 105 / 130 / 155 (+ 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 % AP) from 50 / 85 / 120 / 155 / 190 (+ 55% AP).
  • Mana cost reduced at early ranks to 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 from 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90.
  • Scoring a kill with Twin Fang will restore 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90 (+3% max mana).
  • Significantly improved poison-detection for the purposes of on-hit cooldown reduction (like, really significantly).
    • This includes detecting if the target is poisoned on-cast, meaning the cooldown can be reduced before you've even damaged the enemy.

R: Petrifying Gaze
  • Damage reduced to 150 / 250 / 350 (+50% AP) from 200 / 325 / 450 (+60% AP).
  • Cooldown reduced to 120 / 110 / 100 from 130 / 120 / 110.

I would say, holy **** what an OP passive. Also farming with Twin Fang, yay. I think this will take away the burst combo of Cassiopeia and replace it with huge sustained damage, which I think is great.

Gutted her laning phase in favor of harder hyper carrying late game. Meh. I hate hyper carry gameplay. The whole "survive 30 minutes to rek face" thing is pretty lame.

do you only get passive stacks when YOU poison someone or do you get them when someone else poisons someone as well?

I doubt it, it means that the 5% increases to 10%, and the 10% increases to 30%.

She didn't need an overhaul, she needed some quality of life changes. Her Q has slightly too long of a delay which makes it really hard to hit mobile champions and the reset on her twin fang is too buggy. Her ultimate is ****ing awful and needs to have longer range and be more responsive/consistent. If they fixed those things she would be a viable competitive pick, but i'm not that thrilled about the changes

What bother me the most, is that healing passive ...

Combined with 30% Ap one, I think we can easily say a lategame Cassio will have something like 700 ap (cos rabadon and passive o_o)

It means something like 80~ healing per use of E -> 0,5 sec cd if poisonned -> 160~ heal/Sec seems really high
