Introduction
Fizz is generally known for as a powerful AP assasin/fighter. Many do not know that Fizz can also be super powerful as an AD bruiser and fighter. AD Fizz can mess with your opponents mind. With this build so can be the most successful and unorthodox yordle out there! Hope this build is helpful and please comment and rate!
This ability gives you great mobility and juking potential. Magic damage+his total attack damage+applies on-hit effects( Trinity Force)= Great damage |
Because you are invulnerable you can dodge important skills such as Enchanted Crystal Arrow. This can also be used to jump over walls, which clearly has multiple uses. If you know you are close enough to an enemy, then you can decide not to use Playful / Trickster to apply the slow. |
Click on the spoiler for a video to help show each of Fizz's possible jumps.
For AD Fizz this ability should generally be used as an initiation. It can also be used to escape. By using Chum the Waters after Urchin Strike will allow a much easier shot with the fish. |
Runes
Mark of Attack Damage- Allows for easier farm early game and better poke.
Seal of Armor- There is a possibility your opponent may play an AD caster mid, or the opponent may try to wear you down using autoattacks.
Glyph of Magic Resist- You are going mid and chances are you are going against an AP champion.
Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist- If you are in the jungle, you will not need magic resist that much. Because it is scaling, it will benefit you later in the game.
Quintessence of Ability Power- Because all of your abilities scale off of AP, it is nice to have a little bit of AP.
Alternatives
Mark of Attack Speed- you can use this in the jungle instead of Quintessence of Attack Speed. If you were to use this, replace the quints with Quintessence of Attack Damage or Quintessence of Ability Power
Mark of Magic Penetration- this would be a good alternative mark because all of fizz's abilities deal magic damage
Glyph of Scaling Ability Power- You can use these glyphs in the jungle because you will not need MR to sustain in the jungle.
Quintessence of Attack Damage- If you want even more attack damage you can take these.
For all people this is a good finisher spell. By using this spell with Seastone Trident's passive makes finishing off opponents very easy. You are the jungler, you need this skill. |
This is a spell with many uses. By using this spell with Playful / Trickster, you can quickly cover a super far distance.
Because you have Playful / Trickster you can use this spell instead. The benefit of taking this spell is that it is on a shorter cooldown and can overall cover more distance than Flash.

Boots
(not the monkey)- If the enemy team is autoattack dependent or has lots of AD champions, get these boots.
- If the enemy team has a lot of Crowd Control or has an AP majority team
- If you are planning on roaming a lot mid, or you want to gank more around the map as a jungler.
- If the enemy team has a lot of slows you can get these boots.
- If you are doing well in the game and just want more damage, go with any of these boots. Personally If you are too choose between them, get Sorcerer's Shoes
Core Items
Trinity Force-A lot of your damage output will come from this item alone. It gives Fizz a nice mix of everything. Urchin Strike WILL apply Trinity Force's passive! | Blade of the Ruined King- This is a good item on most champ. It will help him survive, run, stick on targets, and deal tons of damage. Similarly to Trinity Force, Urchin Strike will apply the item's passive and its lifesteal. |
Spirit of the Elder Lizard- If you are jungling, I recommend building Spirit Stone, which you can build into Spirit of the Elder Lizard. It will help deal more damage, allow for better initiation and chasing power, and the cooldown is nice to have.
Offensive
Bloodthirster- For the most damage output on a single target, go for this item.
Ravenous Hydra- this is a good item for AOE damage. Urchin Strike will set off Ravenous Hydra's passive
Zephyr- I like this item a lot. It is VERY cost effective and gives a good mix of stats. The extra movement speed and Tenacity will allow Fizz to almost easily escape all situations.
Wit's End- This item gives a nice mixture of damage and defense. Again, Urchin Strike will apply the item's passive
Wriggle's Lantern- I personally do not like this item as much as Spirit of the Elder Lizard, but if you want a faster clear time, then feel free to use this item.
Defense
- If you are jumping into the fray and are too squishy this is a nice item to have. You can quickly jump in and use the active to allow your teammates to follow up on the initation.
- The enemy team has strong magic damage, get this item for the nice shield, damage, and magic resist
- If you need magic resist and the enemy has hard CC such as Nether Grasp, you should get this item. As an added bonus, you will get a nice movement speed burst
- Second lives rock. If you are getting focused hard then you can get this item.
Wolves> Blue Golem> Wraiths> Double Golems> Wraiths
If you get a smiteless blue, you can use this path instead.
Wolves> Blue Golem> Lizard Elder> Gank OR Wraiths
- If you are going to gank after taking the red buff, you can take Playful / Trickster for an easier time getting through the lane.
- If the enemy jungler is a weak early game jungler (such as Amumu and Maokai, you can decide to invade if so...
Wolves> Blue golem> wait at the enemy red OR wait at enemy wraiths
