Info On Build #1

The build is excellent for Jax. After Runes and items, you should end up with about 572 Damage and 608 Ability Power. This is how Jax should be played >:D

Runes #1

The Runes I chose are based on Mana Regen, some Ability per level and also some Damage per level. If you like using his stun and know when to use it, another rune option is dodge chance although i would kind of consider it a waste, in my opinion, but you chose what you like the most.

Masteries #1

For masteries i go with a 21/0/9 tree. Being very offensive and as for the 9 points on utility I go mainly for the health and mana regen as well as one point on the ghost summoner spell.

Items; Usage and Info #1

I open items planner with a to get the extra Health and some Damage which devastates enemies as I use my . I follow up with ; then buying a for some real action. I build the Revolver into my first . After my first Gunblade i get another one as it gives me a perfect balance between Attack Damage and Ability Power. As you may notice, most tanks start off their build getting Armor, by then you should have set your eyes on a to boost the Ability Power you have now. If you'd like to keep the balance of the AP and AD you can get even another , but if you want to keep the build intact, you should farm a bit, or jungle, and buy yourself an . Either way your last item will be another . You may switch up the , or one of the Gunblades, or the Deathcap for a survival item. Such as: , , , or even a ; keep in mind your game situation as i always like to mention.

Skill Order #1

Let's just say if you don't start with Leap Strike, you are a ******.. lol jk well i always start with Leap Strike since it is really his main ability. Follow up with Empower, i guarantee by level 2 and 3 you will get first blood (if anyone hasn't gotten it yet). The combination of Doran's Blade and Empower + Leap Strike will hurt so much omg.. what can i say :) Anyway, back to the skill order. Very simple, Max out Leap Strike and Empower first, giving last priority to Counter Strike (stun) and getting a point on Relentless Assault at levels 6, 12, and 18.

Summoner Spells; Comparisons and Replacements #1

With I personally love to take because it helps me to be sure I get the kill.
, is a big part of ensuring a kill with Jax, if you have enough Health, you may tower dive an enemy + then out of tower range and out of reach of the lane partner whom may want avenge his mate.

- Jax doesn't really need it but if you can handle it and like it go ahead although i do not recommend it.

- This is a really good replacement for Ignite, it helps you chase and get some damage on the foe.

- I only now one person who jungles with Jax. YES! it is sick how he does it lol. But not for me.

- If you do not have the Mana Regen Runes, you may want to take this spell. Jax kind of runs out mana Early-Game.

- This is the best replacement for Ghost as it acts kind of the same.

- Hmmmmmmmmmmmm no (don't be a *****! you are Jax xD)

- Who uses this anymore...

- It could be a spell of your choice, so if you feel comfortable, go right ahead :)

- Could be really Helpful if you are getting aimed and if they have a lot of stuns and slows. I've never actually tried it on him but it could save lifes.

Team Fights and Ganks #1

I learned the hard way.. Jax is a great initiator, if you initiate please do not Empower + Leap Strike and then just walk/run away, keep attacking. Your job is to aim the squishies and carries trust me they will aim you but your teammates will be there for you (hopefully...)

Try to save your stun for ganks as it gives you some time to damage the opponent. Even though the stun is like 1.5 seconds long it deals damage (i believe) so save it, gank, and Leap to victory :)

With this build i plan to have an unfocused Jax that has survivability and deals great damage as well. you might think it's a waste of time but it goes great with him. After Runes and Items this shall be your stats:

Mana 1225 at 18
Health Per 5 sec 17.35 at 18
Mana Per 5 Sec 8.4 at 18
Armor 231.6 at 18
Dodge 23.25 at 18
Magic Resist 232.64 at 18
Damage 353 at 18
Critical Chance 25.15 at 18
Ability Power 355 at 18
Armor Penetration 0 at 18
Magic Penetration 20 at 18

Runes #2

For my runes sort of defensive going with:

Greater Mark of Shielding which gives me Magic Resist per level.

Greater Seal of Evasion getting some extra Dodge Chance for my Counter Strike (stun).

Greater Glyph of Shielding with more Magic Resist per level.

Greater Quintessence of Evasion also giving me more Dodge Chance.

Masteries #2

For my masteries I go for a 0/17/13. Very defensve. I put points on the dodge slot for a better chance of stun, I get the extra Magic Resistance and Armor, also extra health. I like to get mana regen and health regen as well on the utility side. Very, very defensive masteries.

Items; Usage and Info #2

For items I open with , a , and a Sight Ward. The Boots will give you the edge on your lane. If they have a jungler or a roamer you might want to take in consideration the Ward. If not, you may want to get more and/or . After, rush for , and then get your . To put some damage on your + , and also some movement slow, get a , and this will eventually lead you to get your . Pick up an for Ability Power and Magic Resist for possible ; ; ; Mages and AP casters. Follow up with an item that will balance out your AD and AP, a . After, the best choice is to get a , for you to be un-aimable :) And finish off the build with another damage item, another .

Teamwork; Jax Itself With This Build #2

This build works really well believe it or not, try it tell me what you think. As for gameplay with this build don't be foolish and be the tank for your team even though their team will probably aim you. your job is to get fed, farm, aim squishies and carries, and carry your team all at the same time.
