@Fody12
Thank you :D

@sZeROskill
I disagree on getting Sapphire crystal first. The only positive effect would be more mana + rushing catalyst.. If the problem is mana, why not go dorans? It even gets you regen and Ap+ health.

You are blind about a fact, and I hope you will read this comment again to get another view on it.

"Boots + 3 pots" - It will help you gain sustain in the lane, which will mean that you can remain in the lane for a longer amount of time, you dont need that extra mana on Anivia early game, she's fine on mana till lvl 6 where she often gets blue. The pots will help her sustain in the lane for a good period of time, and the boots will help you escape/chase, change damage instead of getting kited, it also aids you in kiting the enemy. Anivia is extremly slow which means she can easily be hitten by skill shots. For example brands W, it would be quite difficult to dodge without shoes, and without pots as well you would have to recall in a matter of seconds.

Boots are superior to sapphire crystal in so many ways. (Did you drop a vote?)

Nice guide

Anivia is my best(and only) ap-carry.
I question why u don't like a Archangel's Staff Combined with a rod, it gives u SOOOO MUCH AP, and the early tear will keep u from going oom that 1-2 minute where u're not gonna have blue. I play a crazily aggressive anivia(both pre and post 6) so i like to be able to putting down some hurt even if i don't have blue.

U forgot the "Push->Wraiths->Push->Wraiths" strategy against dangerous laners.

Might also wanna mention Double/Triple Doran's Ring->Deathcap?

Nonetheless.. U cover most aspects of Anivia
Just currently not enough to +1 ya from my side. Looked at the other guides.. This one is by far better...

@iceblast13
Thanks.

@Pølsemanden

She is my main too, I love playing her and can't get enough of her.

I don't know why, but I've never been a fan of Archangel's Staff, I am not even using it on Karthus, I use it on Ryze once in a while tho'. I am aware about how strong it is at the moment and I will consider changing it, but I find other items more important which makes me skip it. Lately I haven't been in need of the mana pre-blue and find other items more important to rush, but I will consider adding it. But I did mention it in recommended items, keep in my that the build shown in the beginning ISNT the bible.

I'm glad you mention the "Push - Wraiths - Push - Wraiths" I am doing it myself and sadly forgot to put it in, thank you.

I never played with Dorans (For Anivia), never bought a double Dorans neither. I'm not a fan of it, but I am willing to test it for a few games - I just prefer to pick boots and pots - Anivia is a slow champion in general the movement really aids her from dodging spells like Brands Pillar of Flame followed by pots to keep sustain in the laning phase.

It is a good idea to play aggressive as Anivia but avoid playing too aggressive, a missed stun can give the enemy a chance to zone you for a few seconds pre-6. I attempt to keep it balanced all depending on my opponent, different tactics versus the different champions, same goes for ganks - Getting ganked? You need a stun to have a bigger chance of surviving / touched at all.

Keep in mind people who reads guides on MOBAfire are mainly 10-20 ^^ A lot of 30s tho', but they might not be capable of controlling Anivia correctly (Missing lots of stuns, bad walls) So I recommend a defensive play style for people who are new to Anivia.

Anyways I will give the Doran stacking (1-2) a chance followed by a rabadon, even though it isn't needed - Anivia is pretty powerful in damage output without it.

Thank you. I will give Archangel's Staff another chance and give double Doran's a chance too.

U should ALWAYS start boots on anivia. it's just that simple. But if u get a firstblood off, 2-3 dorans and a deathcap can really just let u carry the whole game from there(so much ap so quickly) This will though give u a late-game need for blue i'm not fond of. But u're not supposed to get to late-game with it.

I just realised another reason that i run tear: My ap-page is with health/level yellows. This gives u a good 200'ish health late game, and with a tear i feel this setup being far superior.

Lategame ap from archangels:
3% of 3000'ish mana: 95 ap, put onto that that it also gives some ap itself(this is as much as a rabadons gives u, and will make u blue-buff unreliant)

Somewhere in the guide u say that u should seal off dragon secures with the wall. I'd much rather wait for the enemy to come, seal HALF the team out and get a double kill on top of the dragon.

My post-3 offensive harrass consists of AA's.
Go up and AA the enemy until he responds, the second he responds u shoot the stun. Since he has a cast animation, u should now be able to get a stun/chill'E off thus gaining u total lane-advantage, since they now know the second they come even nearly close. A "q"->"ignite"->"e" WILL finish them off. DO NOT BE AFFRAID TO USE OFFENSIVE FLASHES for dodging skills and the like.

I'd like u to give me an example of a character u wouldn't wanna start boots against(with anivia, one of(if not)the slowest moving champion in the game).

LeBlanc?

What's use of the boots, if you have to keep your range anyways, unless you want to take damage?

Want to see an in-depth diamond level LeBlanc guide? Come by and check this ;) It's written by Baekstra who is a Diamond LeBlanc main on EUW and being one myself, I can vouch for it 100%!
