Introduction

Hi internet peoples! Thanks for checking out my Sion guide. He's a new champ for me; his kit just didn't interest me until his rework. Sion is a very tanky lane bully with plenty of CC and chasing potential. His presence in TF's is very strong too, laying down high amounts of AOE damage and disruption.

Sion is an excellent top laner and a solid jungle pick. In lane he can poke, disrupt, soak damage, and zone the lane well. As a jungler, he has excellent clear times and a ton of sustain for early survivability. Though his ganks aren't spectacular, once Sion starts a combo it's very difficult to escape it without flashing out.

Please try the build before you downvote it, and if you end up liking the way it plays throw a scoreboard from your game history in the comments. The only way we'll know if it works is if people test it in-game.

Pros:
- Lots of CC
- Good sustain & damage mitigation
- Good chasing potential
- Damage stays relevant throughout entire game
- Bullies lane
- Fits most team compositions
- Next to unkillable if allowed to snowball
Cons:
- Slow ganks
- Skillshot reliant
- No escapes
- Can't replace a standard tank (nobody focuses him due to his passive, no taunt)
- Team reliant
- Susceptible to kiting
- Needs early farm to survive later

Ravenous Hydra words.

When building Ravenous Hydra get Tiamat as soon as possible; its sustain will vastly improve your early game performance.

Words about Warmog's Armor.

On Twisted Treeline, build Overlord's Bloodmail in its place. On Howling Abyss, build Guardian's Horn early and replace it with another object later. On Crystal Scar, collect both Sunfire Aegis and Banshee's Veil and move forward from there.
