Elise is one of the best junglers, and is one of the best gankers in league of legends.
I started playing elise when she was released and loved her. I used her in the jungle just for fun, and found out that she was INCREDIBLE. A guide on how to gank, etc.
Recipe for neurotoxin :P
Pros / Cons
-Quick Jungle Clears
-INSANE GANKING POTENTIAL
-Has a good stun
-Has 7 spells [3 in human 3 in spider + 1 change form
-Mana hungry early
-Q's mana cost is EXTREMLY high
-Squishy unless you get a bit of tanky items
-Tends to be focused sometimes in teamfights
I start with W first just for the AoE damage and a bit of heal in Spider form. Then i take my q and then e. By level 3 your ganking potential is godlike.
Your priority after level 3 is: R,Q,E,W
The reason I max E before W is because her E is good for escaping [When flash is on CD] and a better stun doesn't hurt to have. The W heal is very useless in my opinion. I mainly use my W in human form just to scout a bush because it reveals the fog of war before it goes KABOOM.
I take flash because it saves you. Period. [P.S. can be used offensively or defensively]
Used on almost every jungler. The Season 4 Nerf kiiiind of killed it, because the lower CD isn't worth.
Bait/If you are getting bursted by leblanc etc.
Kind of risky in exchange for a flash/smite. Could replace flash if not yet high enough level or is trolling.
In case enemy's have hard CC but more worth to get quicksilver sash ;P
Blue golem [leash]> Wolves > Wraiths > Wight > Red Buff > Wolves > wraiths > wight
[blue should be up if not gank a few times]
Level 3 Rush Start [USE THIS FOR ASAP EARLY GANKS AND MAKESURE TO GET Q+W+E]
Blue Golem [leash and don't smite] > Red Lizard [Use Smite] > Golems > Wraiths > GANKKKK
Shows you the gank routes for elise. Remember to use your red trinket to disable any wards.
The number labels:
3=if your lazy as ****
Remember to use your ward detector trinket to clear the bush, and then gank. I try to use my stun first if they are in range, but otherwise just rappel in. REMEMBER to tell the laner to get ready. Just land your E and burst down :P That's pretty much all.
I normally build Elise as a bruiser, because she is squishy. Building her as a glass cannon is possible but you sacrifice the option to survive.
/\ Get that on Elise when you are done your bruiser items. It gives a large amount or AP and can help you chop up enemies. BEWARE DO NOT GET RABADON FIRST SINCE YOU ARE SQUISHY
Ryalai's is viable on Elise cause it gives a good amount of AP and a respectable amount of health. Combined with Liandry's passive it makes you deal quiet a lot of burst damage and gives you a good amount of health.
When farming, my regular combo is this:
START IN HUMAN FORM
W> Q > R [ switch to spider form] > Q > W > [smite to secure it if low] *repeat*
Remember that you are squishy early, so if the enemy jungler invades, doesn't matter whom retreat. Only invade the enemies jungle if you have your tank items or else you will die if caught. Unless you're against a ENEMY elise you could try to invade.
-Ward your blue and red buff
-Ward the enemies team blue buff
-If the enemy jungler is blue buff dependent [e.g. enemy elise, udyr, etc.] Stealing the blue buff sets them behind a lot.
-NEVER tower dive early.
-Even late game DON'T TOWER DIVE AGAINST HARD CC CHAMPS [E.G. Anivia,]
