Welcome to another guide by a obsessed jungle fan. From the moment I saw Kha'Zix I knew I had to have him, there was just something about him that made me think in my mind that he was going to be a real problem in the jungle. My second thought was Ridley scott was going to sue Riot hehe. Anyways Kha'Zix is a well rounded Champion, he has decent sustain in the jungle, but he ganks are amazing with Leap. He also scales well into late game. Without further ado here's my jungle/lane guide to Kha'Zix.

Lore
A vicious Void predator, Kha'Zix infiltrated Valoran to devour the land's most promising creatures. With each kill he absorbs his prey's strength, evolving to grow more powerful. Kha'Zix hungers most to conquer and consume Rengar, the one beast he considers his equal.

When Kha'Zix crossed over into this world, he was fragile and ravenous. The animals he first encountered were too small to fuel the rapid evolution he craved. Kha'Zix focused his hunger on the most dangerous creatures he could find, risking his life to satisfy his need. With each kill he feasted and changed, becoming a stronger, faster predator. Kha'Zix soon chased his prey with unrestrained aggression, believing he was unstoppable. One day, while savoring a fresh kill, the predator became the prey. From cover a creature pounced in a blur of fangs and steel, tackling him to the ground. It roared in his face slashing and clawing, and Kha'Zix felt his blood spill for the first time. Screeching in fury, he sliced at the brute's eye driving it back. They fought from sunset to sunrise. Finally, near death, they reluctantly separated. As his wounds closed, Kha'Zix burned with anticipation at the idea of devouring one who could match the Void's strength. He resumed his search for powerful prey with renewed vigor. Someday, Kha'Zix will feast on Rengar.

• Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: These runes will add some extra AD, which is real useful for Kha'Zix's Taste Their Fear
  
• greater mark of Desolation: Armor Penetration, again useful with Taste Their Fear
  
• Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: This rune will give you more survivability when taking hits from Ap casters.
  
• Greater Seal of Armor: Flat Armor, for more survivability in the jungle.

• : I love this boots on Kha'Zix the quicker you are, the better assassin you can become. Plus it makes for a great escape, you'll be able to outrun your enemy. Quicker movement speed = Quicker and better ganks
  
• : Great for handling CC, I rather use this while you lane.
  
• : Personally I haven't tried this item, but I want you guys to keep your options open.
  
• Forgot to add these boots. I never really tried them on Kha'Zix but the considering the cooldowns on Kha'Zix skills, it'll be useful. Without Ionian boots, you'll find that you'll need the blue for cooldowns, instead of donating it to your Ap caster

Kha'Zix scales really well into late game. Adding Bloodthirsterwill help him scale greatly, while sustaining in team fights.

Tons of DAMAGE

CDR, health, and decent damage with a useful passive, will make Kha'Zix a deadly foe in a 1v1

Great defensive item, with an OP passive.

• :Great health, and decent damage with an on hit slow. Useful for chasing down enemies.
  
• :Great damage, with great protection from magic.
  
• : Great Damage, and more magic resistance. It's UNIQUE active removes debuffs and grants 50% movement speed for 1 second. Useful when the enemy team focuses you with CC
  
• :Great Health, and armor with a AOE passive, useful when you need more health.
  
• :I Don't usually build this on Kha'Zix but it's something to consider as an Defensive item
  

• Unseen Threat Extra Damage when landing a basic attack on a enemy champ, it is gained when Kha'Zix is not visible to the enemy. Works well when jungling, or using Void Assault.
  
• Taste Their Fear (Q): Main damage tool, low cooldown, Damages the target, Damage is increased when target is isolated. Isolated targets will have a purple circle under them.
  
• Void Spike (W):Useful tool for surviving the jungle, not much health from it though. High mana cost
  
• Leap (E):Great Gap closer, great for escaping. Really useful for chasing down enemy champs.
  
• Void Assault (R):Can stealth for 1 seconds, while stealth you will gain Unseen Threat. Good for ganking, and extra damage from Unseen Threat will help you land the kill

• Taste Their Fear (Q):Evolution: Increases damage to isolated target by 12% of their missing health, Also gains 50 increased range on both Taste Their Fear and Basic attacks
  
• Void Spike (W):Evolution: Fire three projectiles in a cone.
  
• Leap (E):Evolution: Increases Leap and causes a kill or assist to refresh the coodldown of Leap
  
• Void Assault (R):Evolution: Allows Kha'Zix to cast Void Assault three times within 10 seconds, and reduces damage by 40% he takes while in stealth

Jungle While in the jungle I prefer to take a point in Void Spike for the sliver of health you get from it. It provides more sustain, Next i take a point in Taste Their Fear as it is Kha'Zix's Main damage tool. Point three goes to Leap, it is your ganking tool, it's a must have for early ganks. For maxing I prefer to max Taste Their Fear then Leap second, maxing Leap second will lower it's cooldown, which will be useful for escapes and tracking down an enemy. As Always take points in ult Void Assault. Lastly I max Void Spike because well it's not too useful for damaging enemies, only for health

1) Taste Their Fear as the increase range, and damage isolated targets take will be useful to.
2) Leap Increased in Range will help out in gap closing, and escaping
3) Void Assault Allows Kha'Zix to cast Void Assault Three times, to be honest two is enough, but I rather evolve this over Void Spike, as it will be most useful.


Lane I like to start off maxing Taste Their Fear for more Poke, but if your getting out poked then max Void Spike First. If you Max Void Spike First then max Taste Their Fear second then Leap third. If you decide to max Taste Their Fear first then max Leap second as the Gap close is useful during the lane.

As a Assassin you specialize in 1v1, however that does not mean you are completely useless in a team fight. When a Team fight breaks out your main focus should be the ADC, OR Ap caster, you want to focus down the main damage output of the enemy team. What's useful is your Void Assault it'll allow you to get in and out of a team fight while dealing as much damage as you can to the Adc or Ap and still get out. You are not needed to initiate the fight, just be there to help out.

Kha'Zix is an Assassin, nothing simple. He'll be hard to be master his skill, but when you do you'll be able to utilize his skill to use at full advantage. Just because he is an assassin doesn't mean he is useless in team fights. Read the Team fight section. This is my forth build that will remain public. I hope this Guide has been helpful.
