Let's start
It's always exciting when Riot sets a new champion loose on the Fields of Justice. Recently, they've release Darius The Hand of Noxus. Darius is a melee champion with good damage output, while being quite tanky.

Now I know that a lot of summoners think Darius is a Garen clone, and I slightly agree. I think that Darius is like Garen... When you give him a good kick in the nuts! He'll certainly not let you get away with it!

Pros:

Very aggressive playstyle
Easy farming
High damage output
Quite tanky
Extremely super OP ultimate

Cons:

Below average movement speed
Expensive itemset
Mana-hungry when you spam
Not that good against heavy CC
Easy overextender

Hemorrhage (Passive)
Darius' basic attacks and damaging abilities cause enemies to bleed for 12 / 15 / 18 / 21 / 24 / 27 / 30 / 33 / 36 (+ 30% Bonus AD) magic damage over 5 seconds, stacking up to 5 times.
Darius gains 5% movement speed for each bleeding enemy champion.


Decimate (Q)
Darius deals 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 (+ 70% Bonus AD) physical damage to all nearby enemies in a circle around him.

Champions in the outer half of the ability are struck by the blade, taking 50% additional damage 105 / 157.5 / 210 / 262.5 / 315 (+ 105% Bonus AD).

COST: 40 Mana

Crippling Strike (W)
Darius' next basic attack deals additional 120% / 140% / 160% / 180% / 200% damage and slows the target's movement and attack speed 20% / 25% / 30% / 35% / 40% for 2 seconds.
Crippling Strike's base cooldown is reduced by 1 second for each stack of Hemorrhage on the target.

Apprehend (E)
Darius hones his axe, granting him passive armor penetration. When activated, Darius sweeps up his enemies with his axe's hook and pulls them to him.

Passive: Grants 5/10/15/20/25% armor penetration.
Active: Pulls in all enemies in front of Darius.

Cost : 45 mana
Range : 540
COOLDOWN: 24 / 21 / 18 / 15 / 12


Noxian Guillotine (R)
Darius leaps to target enemy champion and strikes a lethal blow, dealing 160 / 250 / 340 (+ 75% Bonus AD) as true damage.
For each stack of Hemorrhage on the target, Noxian Guillotine deals an additional 20% true damage with a Maximum of 320 / 500 / 680 (+ 150% Bonus AD).
When Noxian Guillotine kills the target, it can be recast within the next 12 seconds. This can occur multiple times in succession.

COST: 100 Mana

Viable Summoner Spells:

This summoner spell is great for Darius. You can run faster than your enemies and catch them with Apprehend or kill'em; Or you can escape with this.


You can combine your passive with ignite,wich is a lower healling effect plus a double damage.


Can be useful in some situations. You can go through walls with this spell and is useful to escape.


Slows targets down, and reduces damage dealt.

You can finish the Build with Guardian Angel or Atma's Impaler

Alternatives items Tankys for Darius:

Aegis of the Legion instead of Ohmwrecker so you can upgrade it to Runic Bulwark late
Frozen Heart instead of Randuin's Omen
Banshee's Veil, Warmog's Armor, Mikael's Blessing and Sunfire Aegis are good options too

Alternative offensive Items

Last Wishper or Youmuu's Ghostblade instead of Black Cleaver
Mercurial Scimitar instead of Maw of Malmortius
Ravenous Hydra could be a good option if you buy some AS
