|Ziggs is a very strong mid laner, which specializes in nuking his opponent. He has long range and big damage in his kit and can totally demolish his enemies! He is also fun to play.|

|As a mage, Ziggs is very squishy and when caught, he is usually dead. If he dies early, he gets easily behind and then deals no damage. All his abilites are skillshots, therefore it takes time to master him.|
|The boots you always want to buy. The magic penetration and movement speed is always needed to dodge skillshots and deal more damage. I prefer to buy this before finishing the first item.|

|Now we have come to the point when enemies are stacking Magic resist,whoop time for this item! This little thingy ignores 35% of their MR (crazy amount) and combined with the it is insane penetration!|
|It is now late game and people will most probably target you. You revive with this item but be sure to switch it for something else once you've used it (it has a 5 minute cooldown)|
|Get this if they have one major threat in the team. With it's active, you will deal more damage to them!|
|Get this if they have dangerous healing (AKA Swain or Aatrox) because you will deal grievous wounds to them (50% reduced healing)|
|If you need a turret destroyer to your team, this item is your best friend. With your passive, a tremendous amount of AP and yourself, you will pretty much 2-shot turrets. Not kidding.|
|Get this if they stack health to counter you.|
|If you want to stack the mana, go for it, but I do not prefer this item on Ziggs unless you really just want to throw bombs all the time.|
|Dont buy this. You are a nuker, this is for close ranged mages that are in the danger of dying. You shouldn't die. The same goes for all the "Never buy" items.|
- Greater Quintessence of Ability Power: We are playing Ziggs as a nuker and the AP is the best choice really, we could take Quints of Movespeed, but we are not a utility champ.
- Greater Mark of Magic Penetration: More damage. Combined with your items, you should be able to deal close to true damage when you attack them!
- Greater Glyph of Ability Power: You could take magic resist, but due to the fact we are playing a total nuke playstyle, you want these for the early damage. Another option here is Scaling AP for all-game snowballing.
- Greater Seal of Armor: You generally want this due to the fact that you need some survivability, not extreme, but some. This will save you some poke from minions, turrets and champion basic attacks. Needless to say, you NEED these when facing AD mid.
Flash: This is the most used spell in the game. You need this. Dont bother taking anything else. Flash will save your life. Flash gets you in position. Flash.. EVERYTHING. Just get it.
Ignite: You want to take this 95% of the time. Take it with flash to secure kills, or win trades. This is very useful with flash, as you can deal the killing blow on your opponent.
Barrier: Take this only when you are facing almost unkillable champions like Orianna where there is no chance (almost) of killing them. Or take it when facing champions that can insta-burst you easily. Also, try to roam a lot.
