Even with sub par AP ratios the CDs are manageable and with Eclipse providing bonus MR and Armor it is very possible that she could be a serviceable AP OT. Lich Bane included....Wonder why all these ideas I'm having seem to work so well lately. Must be my Q&A thread(s) being read by Riot :o

80%.......YUPP looks like Riot still doesn't understand the concept of "balanced"....Granted the term balanced is relative to the number of viable ways to build her. 700AP 2600 HP Leona with a Lichbane...YEAH they (enemy team) be ****ed. Considering the range it (her ulti) seems to have. Not to mention the rtard combo u can do Eclipse+Zenith (hits the squishie carry last) Shield Bash Stun+Ulti+Eclipse explodes. THEY DEAD....I can see why they decided not to let her proc her own passive that'd be OP with Lichbane proc amiright?

Sokay though she seems like she'll be fun. Considering Riot forwent the standard Pam Anderson "mountains of mayhem" bust size it seems like they might have actually created a solid well rounded champion...How she can effectively tank/nuke/ dare I say MOVE in high heals is the OP thing. She should get some sort of slow debuff when moving through "muddy" terrain...Phreak said it himself she is highly mobile SUCH A MYSTERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just because she deals a lot of magic damage doesn't necessarily mean she's an AP tank~~


A lot of abilities are conducive to building her like an AD offtank or like a tanky DPS because of how much CC, defense, and mobility she has.

I'm thinking:

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration
Greater Seal of Armor/ Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist/ Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist
Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed


Regrowth Pendant+ Health Potion OR Boots+3 Health Potions OR Doran's Shield OR Doran's Ring

Philosopher's Stone
Heart of Gold
Mercury's Treads OR Ionian Boots of Lucidity OR Ninja Tabi
Sheen
Trinity Force

Eleisa's Miracle if you didn't get Merc Treads

Tanky items:
Banshee's Veil, Force of Nature
Randuin's Omen, Sunfire Aegis, Frozen Heart
Aegis of the Legion


Hell, maybe even Abyssal Mask.

CDR may be very nice on her. The more you can stun, the better. That's the main reasoning behind Frozen Heart.

As a tentative final build I'm thinking:

Ghost+Ignite or Flash+Ignite

0/9/21 or 9/0/21 masteries (probably 9/0/21), possibly even 9/21/0 if going for a tankier build

Mercury's Treads
Frozen Heart
Force of Nature
Trinity Force
Guardian Angel?
Sixth tanking item

With 9/0/21 masteries and Frozen Heart, you reach 29% CDR - becoming 39% once you get a blue pot, putting you close enough to the cap that you can just spam Q and get stuns, Triforce procs, and Sunlight procs off all the time.

Leona projects a solar image of her sword which deals 60/100/140/180/220 (+0.4) magic damage to all enemies in a line. When the image fades the last enemy champion struck will be briefly immobilized and Leona will dash to them.

[R] Leona's Solar Flare:

100/150/200 Mana
105/90/75 sec Cooldown
1200 range

After a brief delay Leona calls down a beam of solar energy to deal 150/250/350 (+0.8) magic damage and slow enemies by 80% for 1.5 seconds. Enemies in the center of the effect are stunned instead of slowed.

the source of this is somebody pulling the numbers from out of some data files, so possibly they're wrong.

Pretty ****py ratios for the most part, thus proving my point that you should probably try to build her like a trinity tank instead of an AP tank. Your Q reaches under a 5 second cooldown with 40% CDR.
