Throughout Valoran, the resolve of Demacia's military is alternately celebrated or despised, but always respected. Their ''zero tolerance'' moral code is strictly upheld by civilians and soldiers alike. In combat, this means Demacian troops may not make excuses, flee, or surrender under any circumstance. These principles are espoused to their forces by unrivaled demagogues who lead by example. Garen, the valiant warrior who bears the title ''the Might of Demacia'', is the paradigm to which these leaders are compared. Thousands of great heroes have risen and fallen on the bloody battlefields between Demacia and its preeminent rival, Noxus. It was beneath their mighty banners of war that Garen first met steel with Katarina, the Sinister Blade. The infantrymen who beheld this event (and survived) commented that it seemed as though the two were locked in a mortal waltz against a symphony of clashing blades.

Garen, the pride of the Demacian military and leader of the Dauntless Vanguard, returned from this battle breathless for the first time in his career, though some speculate that this was due to reasons other than exhaustion. The plausibility of these rumors was bolstered when, in every instance thereafter, Garen seized the opportunity to encounter the Sinister Blade again. A paragon of Demacian ethic, Garen never entertained such allegations, for he knew others couldn't understand. Even simply the pursuit of a worthy opponent on the battlefield is, to a true warrior, the reason to rise each morning. The promise of one, particularly so beautifully and diametrically opposed, is the validation of his existence.

*Judgement deals very high damage at early game
*Not squishy
*Ultimate can be a last hitting tool

Cons
*Dont have escape ability

Reccomended Spells

- helpful in chasing and escaping an enemy.helpful in fighting 1v1 to Master Yi, Xin Zhao, Tryndamere etc


- because Garen has no escaping abilities,i suggest to get this,It helps in chasing and escaping , can pass through walls to :D


Other Spells to be taken

- finish your enemy running by Ignite it reduce healing by 50%,very helpful if fighting Fiddlesticks

- Boots of Swiftness + Decisive Strike + Ghost = escape

- helpful to get back in your lane


Spells not to take



- Garen dont use mana

- leave it to your support or tank

- Garen dont jungle

Welcome to runes section here is the chapter where you learn why i pick these runes

- 0.13 attack damage per lvl 2.34 attack damage in lvl 18
it means 2.34 x 9 , good luck calculating

- Armor , to stay in a lane longer , 12 armor at lvl 18 . Like a Tank

- Garen needs critical chance too. :D

Greater quintessence of defense - Garen has 23 armor in lvl 18

- your silencing tool.it deals a lot of damage cuz 1.4 of your attack damage is converted to Decisive Strike`s damage , can be a last hitting tool for Garen,very useful skill in silencing ap killer like Kassadin, LeBlanc, Brandetc so they cant cast spells.


- 36% decrease damage to Garen for 3 seconds + Garen gains 25 armor and magic resist in killing minions. can tank a clash



- your killing tool,deals a lot of damage in early and mid game so max it first than Decisive Strike and Courage. Judgment dont do a lot of damage in late game so max it on first and mid game

- my favorite skill on Garen, Demacian Justice!!!! it is helpful in last hitting to champs to gain more kills

Lvl 1:Use it on a 10% health
Lvl 2: 15% health
Lvl 3: 20% health

Summoners Wrath - I take this cuz it reduce the armor and the magic resist of the enemy exhausted

Brute Force - for 3 damage,its helpful too!

Butcher - for farming and killing minions

Alacrity - 1 point here cuz Garen dont need attack speed

Weapon Expertise - armor penetration

Deadliness - 0.5 dmg per lvl very less but helpful

Lethality - Like Infinity Edge - 40% critical damage

Vampirism - 3% Lifesteal thats cool :D

Sunder - 6 Armor Penetration :)

Executioner - Increases the damage dealt by 6% to enemies beyond 40% health :D

Resistance - Magic Resistance (For some tanky masteries)

Hardiness Armor (For some tanky masteries)

- A CC monster, Knock in the air and let him headbutt him to you :) + a heal nice partner

- a heal and a stun very helpful in killing and staying in lane longer

- Not so good cuz Rocket Grab needs shooting skills

- just like Blitzcrank, Bandage Toss needs shooting skills like Blitzcrank + his ulti Curse of the Sad Mummy is a f*cking AOE Snare yeah!

- with her hold that targets 2 enemy and a raygun (ultimate) Finales Funkeln deals a lot of damage

- With her hold like Lux and a Black Shield that block spells you sure you can stay lane longer

- her shield and her ultimate which bring the enemy near the ball,,just stay near the ball to kill a enemy

- with his spammable Rune Prison you can kill a enemy easily

- Two Reasons , Sapling Toss can be a wards and a snare

- Fling

- fling and slow

- with his Nevermove you can kill an enemy easily

- with his invi Ambush you can ambush an enemy easily + his AOE slow

- you can Last hit his skills just let him fear the enemy and Bountiful Harvest the life of the enemy


- just let him taunt anyone

- Judgment + Sunfire Aegis

- if there are many mage in the enemy team

- if you want to be support buy this

- for more tanky build + AOE slow

- for armor penetration + 40 damage

- if you want

- support`s shield

- if there many hitter in the enemy team

- for attack speed
