The Basics
Last hitting is when you last hit the minion(s) or creep(s) and get the gold and exp from it. Getting good cs(creep score or minion kills) is very important in the game when it comes to getting items. Sorry if this .gif is bad but it shows what getting the gold looks like. https://imgflip.com/i/62gks
When a tower is destroyed it gives gold to your team. A tactic used in play is split pushing, when a member or members of your team push a side lane(Top or Bottom) when the other members of your team pressure an objective or middle lane. https://imgflip.com/i/62gnx A tower giving gold. When a tower is killed by you it gives more gold, but when a minion destroys it it gives less to you but still gives the same amount to your teammates. Don't be afraid to push when no one is in lane, but be careful because the enemy jungler might be around! Towers have a range in which they attack you if no minions are around. If you attack an enemy champion under their tower their tower starts to attack you. The more tower shots you take the more damage they do. If you attack the enemy champion under your tower your tower does not attack them. It takes 3 shots to kill an undamaged melee minon and 2 for the ranged ones.
Warding keeps vision of an area. You should buy the Warding Totem at the start for every lane, the exceptions are jungle or support. As support or jungle you could sell your warding totem for a sweeping lens for map control. If an enemy runs into a warded brush you'll be able to see them. The only way these wards go away is if they are 1.Revealed by a Pink Ward, 2.Spotted by a Sweeping Lens or Greater Lens, or 3. You place it near a tower. Since I brought up pink wards, you can only have 1 of them placed by you at a time. Say you have a pink at dragon and you want to put one at Baron pit. The one at dragon pit disappears if you place another at Baron. Pink wards are permanent on the map until destroyed. There's also the Scrying orb which gives vision of an area when used. http://imgur.com/o8sBu33 Map where to ward(pretty bad but you get the point) You can find better one of these on Google images :P
Kills give gold and exp obviously. When you kill the opponent in laning phase you want to push if you get the chance and you see their jungler like in another lane. If your'e low and you see the enemy jungler or even another lane is coming GTFO or if you know they are coming. If you start getting like 50-100 gold from the enemy when you kill them its probably caused they've been killed so many times. They will start being worth gold when they get an assist or a kill. They make you worth gold again if you are like 0-11-0. Your bounty is worth back to 400 again.
Assists give a little bit of gold and exp. You get them when you take part in a kill. Supports or junglers generally have the most assists in the game.DON'T BE A ***** WHEN A KILL IS STOLEN "OMG KSER *** U". When this happens I mean at least someone got the kill and they didn't get away. If its like 1v1ing them and a Nidalee Spear comes when their at 50 health it's frustrating but don't rq or just start flaming at everyone. They make you worth gold again if you are like 0-11-0. Your bounty is worth back to 400 again.
Gold was pretty much stated already. Experience you gain when you kill minions, are around the death of minions, or killing neutral monsters(monsters in the jungle ex. Golems, blue, wraiths, etc.) You also get experience when you kill champions or get assists. If your'e under-leveled its probably because your'e not near the minions when they die, your'e dying to much, you don't gank much and clear slow in the jungle, or d/c for a short-long period of time.
Alright I see this a lot. People build Ability Power(AP) items on an Attack Damage(AD) champion. For some champions this isn't that bad of a problem and for some it is. Getting AP does NOT make most or all of your abilities stronger. You could go AP Garen for example. It does not make your Q E or R stronger... GAREN HAS NO AP SCALING. Or AP Ashe it does not increase the damage on Volley. Just your ultimate as Ashe. If you want to figure out how to play the champion just look up build here on mobafire or on solomid.net or on other sites. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/League_of_Legends_Wiki This site you can look up a champion and it shows what their abilities scale off of but I will say what champions should be played later. Also in the defensive items, Magic resist decreases the amount of magic damage you take. Armor reduces the amount of physical/attack damage you take. So you don't always want to get health only, ex. getting 2 warmogs to live longer. Defensive items such as Randuins Omen or Abyssal's Scepter are good.
Try them out when its a free week if you want them(free weeks are every Tuesday), if your'e really really impatient you can buy RP or if you have enough IP. If you want counters for champions you can visit various sites such as http://www.championselect.net/champ www.lolcounter.com/ and various others.
AD=Attack Damage Below this will be champions that should be played AD, not all these should be played full glass cannon such as Jinx or any ADC, but tank mixed in with AD such as Garen, Renekton, Aatrox, Etc. Some champions as well could be played AP or hybrid. Please note that most champions can be played with different builds but these are just what I would play each champion as. Also some maybe incorrect for some and I could be missing some champions. This is very long.
Aatrox, Ashe, Caitlyn, Corki, Darius, Draven, Ezreal, Fiora, Gangplank, Garen, Graves, Irelia, Jarvan IV, Jax, Jayce, Jinx, Kha'Zix, Kog'Maw, Lee Sin, Lucian, Master Yi, Miss Fortune, Nasus, Nocturne, Olaf, Pantheon, Poppy, Quinn, Renekton, Rengar, Riven, Shaco, Shyvana, Sion, Sivir, Talon, Tristana, Trundle, Tryndamere, Twitch, Udyr, Urgot, Varus, Vayne, Vi, Volibear, Warwick, Wukong, Xin Zhao, Yasuo, Yorick, and Zed.
AP= Ability Power: Most of these should be played AP and could be played AD or hybrid. Some of these should not be played full AP but tank aswell.
Ahri, Akali, Anivia, Annie, Brand, Cassiopeia, Cho'Gath, Diana, Elise, Evelynn, Fiddlesticks, Fizz, Galio, Gragas, Heimerdinger, Janna, Karma, Karthus, Kassadin, Katarina, Kayle, Kennen, Kog'Maw, LeBlanc, Lissandra, Lux, Malphite, Malzahar, Mordekaiser, Morgana, Nidalee, Nunu, Orianna, Rumble, Ryze, Singed, Sona, Swain, Syndra, Teemo, Tristana, Twisted Fate, Varus, Veigar, Viktor, Vladamir, Warwick, Xerath, Zac, Ziggs, Zilean, and Zyra.
Some champions should be played tank or bruiser. For you that don't know what tank means it means almost like a meat shield that absorbs all the damage, does little damage or have built in damage. Also takes the hit while your back like does a bunch of damage or takes aggression away from your fighters like Tryndamere. You should not focus some of these champions that are tanky because they do so little damage but as an ADC you should kill them first if they go for you. Most tanks should be played with some damage. Like if your'e playing Amumu you should get some AP or Elise get some too. Below these champions could be played tanky.
Aatrox, Alistar, Amumu, Blitzcrank, Cho'gath, Darius, Dr.Mundo, Elise, Garen, Hecarim, Jarvan IV, Jax, Lee Sin, Leona, Malphite, Maokai, Nasus, Nautilus, Nocturne, Nunu, Olaf, Pantheon, Poppy, Rammus, Renekton, Rengar, Sejuani, Shen, Singed, Shyvana, Skarner, Taric, Thresh, Trundle, Udyr, Urgot, Vi, Volibear, Warwick, Wukong, Xin Zhao, Yasuo, Yorick, and Zac.
Bruisers are those champions that are tanky with the right build and that have built-in damage.
Bruisers are generally top and should be build almost full tank with almost no damage items. Pretty much can take a bunch of hits while can still pack a punch.
Bruisers are like Aatrox, Amumu, Cho'Gath, Darius, Elise, Garen, Hecarim, Jarvan IV, Jax, Lee Sin, Nasus, Olaf, Pantheon, Poppy, Renekton, Rengar, Shyvana, Singed, Udyr, Urgot, Vi, Volibear, Warwick, Xin Zhao, and Yorick. Im missing some bruisers but im very tired writing this guide so please add more if you know any.

The main goal of the jungler is to gank top, mid, and bot to get them stronger then the other lane, and to help push. In the jungle you want to take the Machete and 5 potions. The jungle is where you start either Blue or Red buff(http://imgur.com/nH8EU8d most of the stuff you need to know of jungle camps) depending on who you are playing jungle. While you are playing jungle be careful of invasions. Invasions are where the enemy team comes into your part of the jungle and tries to steal your buff. Could happen to either of your buffs. Counter jungling is where you go into the other teams jungle and take their camps. At wraiths you either clear out the camp and leave 1 little wraith(the black one), golems leave the small one, red or blue, leave a small lizard, and take the wight. A general jungle path is Red/Blue, then head to Wolves/Wraiths, then head to your other buff, head to your wolves or wraiths(closest one to you) then golems. http://imgur.com/NZh1KwC where to gank from. As jungler if youre new to jungling or dont know how to use the Elder Lizard or Spectral Wraith just get the Ancient Golem. As jungler dont gank a very far behind lane. It's just not worth it. Im forgetting something here and I dont remember what. Ill fill it in later when I remember. Baron Nashor gives a buff that increases AD, AP, Health regen, and Mana regen. Blue Buff gives CDR(Cooldown Reduction MAX OF 40%) and mana regen. Red buff applies a minor slow and does a minor DoT(Damage over Time). Dragon give no buff just gold.

Mid is the lane where you have your assassins, mages, and casters. Mid lane is the lane where you would farm, play aggressively, and roam especially. Some match ups are just a farming match up, some match ups you try to out-trade them in damage then all in when you can, some match ups are where you only play aggressive(and farm). As mid you usually want to roam bot where they are mostly squishy, and you want to try and get fed of this lane if you can. If you fail to roam a bunch you become behind in experience and gold and could possibly lose a tower. If you gank top go with your jungler unless top inst that low and you can follow up.
Mid laners could be like...
Ahri, Akali, Anivia, Annie, Brand, Cassiopeia, Cho'gath, Diana, Elise, Evelynn, Fiddlesticks, Fiora, Fizz, Gangplank, Galio, Gragas, Heimerdinger, Janna, Jayce, Karma, Karthus, Kassadin, Kayle, Kennen, Kha'Zix, Kog'Maw, LeBlanc, Lee Sin, Lissandra, Lux, Malphite, Malzahar, Mordekaiser, Morgana, Nidalee, Orianna, Pantheon, Riven, Rumble, Ryze, Sion, Swain, Syndra, Talon, Teemo, Tristana, Twisted Fate, Varus, Veigar, Viktor, Vladamir, Xerath, Xin Zhao, Yasuo, Zed, Ziggs, Zilean, and Zyra.

Ah top lane. Top lane is where you have your bruisers, tanks, assassins, and Obnoxious Rivens... Top you generally want to push and have your jungler gank if your'e not doing that bad and youre not that low on health.
Top laners could be...
Aatrox, Akali, Cho'Gath, Darius, Diana, Dr.Mundo, Elise, Gangplank, Garen, Irelia, Jarvan IV, Jax, Jayce, Kha'Zix, Lee Sin, Malphite, Master Yi, Mordekaiser, Nasus, Nocturne, Nunu, Olaf, Pantheon, Poppy, Quinn, Renekton, Rengar, Riven, RUmble, Ryze, Shen, Shyvana, Singed, Sion, Swain, Teemo, Trundle, Tryndamere, Udyr, Urgot, Vi, Vladamir, Volibear, Warwick, Wukong, Xin Zhao, Yasuo, Yorick, and Zac.

Support is the role that most people hate. Support is where you build Sightstone, a gold income item (Relic Shield, Spellthief's Edge, or an Ancient Coin.) and build that up to the final item whether it be the Talisman of Ascension, Frost Queen's Claim, or Face of the Mountain. You also set up kills. You ward the river and make sure your ADC is safe. In team fights you peel depending on who you are, and peeling is making sure your back line is safe or your helping them get away from the dirty, dirty, Renekton.
Supports are like...
Alistar, Annie, Blitzcrank, Fiddlesticks, Janna, Karma, Kayle, Leona, Lulu, Lux, Morgana, Nami, Nunu, Orianna, Sona, Soraka, Taric, Thresh, Volibear, Zilean, and Zyra.

OK so ADC is your Attack Damage Carry that is ranged. As ADC you last hit the minions and harass with basic attacks if you can. Your'e a glass cannon dont build tanky. The only thing tanky you should have as an ADC is like a Warmogs, Randuins Omen, or Guardian's Angel(Last Item or Mid item if your'e carrying.). Your objective is to stay afar from the enemies front line. Kill everyone you can from afar. Also something you should learn is to kite. Kiting is where you continuously backing away and attacking a pursuing enemy champion in such a way that the enemy is damaged while unable to deal damage back. Definition from http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/League_of_Legends_terminology
ADCs are like....
Ashe, Caitlyn, Corki, Draven, Ezreal, Graves, Jinx, Kog'Maw, Lucian, Miss Fortune, Quinn, Sivir, Tristana, Twitch, Varus, Vayne, and Urgot(ew) Uploaded from Rayne_Storm on reddit. http://imgur.com/piVrkez Shows all adc's ranges.

Alright almost done!!! Do not, I repeat do not start a game an hour before you have to do something. If you leave a game you get a few warnings until you get banned. Usually for a day but can go up to like a month or two possibly even a year. Point is don't leave and don't start a game an hour before something important like a recital or dinner.
In-game if someone is harassing you. You just mute them and don't flame them back just makes things worse. The mute button is by the side of their name and you just click on it so there is an X in the chat bubble icon. After the game just report them for harassment, racism, verbal abuse, etc. Please don't report people for stupid stuff like "He Ksed me so many times" or "He said he was smurfing"
Runes..... Runes are very expensive things. It takes time to get them and you cannot buy them with RP. Don't buy tier 1 and 2 runes they are a noob-trap. Tier 1 and 2 eat your IP and are almost useless. Buy Tier 3 when your'e level 30 or are comfortable with the amount of champions you have and buy runes. Masteries are very good. Mastery Pages generally look like 21 in offensive-0 in defensive- and 9 in Utility when your'e level 30. Mastery pages can look like anything that you want pre30, so like 11-3-5 if you wanted. If you want a general understanding of what your runes and mastery pages should look like just look at a build on either here on mobafire or any site where you can make a build really.
Some spells you don't get right away but the ones you get later in the game are pretty damn good. You always want to have a mobility spell whether it be Flash, Teleport, or Ghost.
Flash is good once your'e level 12. In most cases you want to have flash. Flash helps you either escape or catch a fleeing enemy. YOU CANNOT FLASH A KARTHUS ULT, IGNITE, FIORA ULTIMATE, BASIC ATTACKS, ALREADY CASTED ABILITIES SUCH AS A KAYLE Q, A LEE SIN KICK (2nd Q), TEEMO POISON, and a lot of other things I cant think of right now. A lot of abilities you can flash out of range though.
You obtain ignite at level 8. Ignite is good for reducing the healing a person can do like a Dr.Mundo Ultimate. Also good for confirming a kill, doing true damage, and doing that extra bit of damage you cant do with basics right away.
You get barrier at level 6. Barrier is good on ADC's also some mids and maybe some tops. Barrier is that spell that is very situational.
Ghost is good on some champions like Udyr or Nasus to catch up with people and making sure they dont escape, or even just running away, but flash usually is better for that.
Heal isnt very good dont get it unless you can get any other spell
Clarity ^ same situation as heal, another noob-trap spell.
Revive is a troll spell really. Too long of a cd(cool down). Generally used on Jungle or Mid Karthus with Teleport.
Teleport good for tops to roam or splitpush also to get back to lane. Good for mid to gank bot with and get back to lane.
Smite, Smite IS A MUST on jungling unless you play jungle Karthus ;.; . It is very vital to jungling to help with clear times and securing dragon or baron.
Cleanse is an situational spell for ADC's to get reduce the time of cc.
You get this at level 8. Exhaust is good for supports or even ignite is good on supports. Exhaust is good for supports to help slow the enemy teams ADC's attack speed and movement speed.
Clairvoyance don't even bother with.

Have map control. Map control is one of the things that really annoys me and I see it a lot on my smurf or even just playing ranked on my main. Map control is where you have wards all over the map in the places I put on the map earlier. Also its clearing wards with the Sweeping Lens making sure the enemy team has little to no awareness of whats happening in the jungle. Also Map awareness. I see this a lot too. Mine isn't the best so I'm not saying everyone who has bad awareness sucks. Map awareness is knowing whats going on in the map. Whether it be the jungler bot and mid is in lane and you have the opportunity to push or being able to steal the enemies blue/red buff when it's up. Also knowing if an enemy is nearby in a bush.
