Updated all the items
November 9, 2012 - Changed Glyphs from Ability Power to MR per level
Pros
- Great Ganks
- Fast
- Great mid game
- Level 2 gank available
Cons
- Squishy and Melee (terrible combo)
- Needs team mates to kill early on
- If your team is bad you wont do so good either
- Cannot face check bushes anymore
- Oracle's Elixir slows you down and can completely shut you down if team does not
cooperate
- People tend to dodge Q a lot
- Not many skins
So why would you ever play evelynn?
because it actually shows you have skill and its awesome seeing peoples reaction when they lose to eve.
The power brokers of Valoran know that Evelynn's services come at the highest of premiums, and her recent addition to the League of Legends indicates that her ambitions are growing. Her savagery on the Fields of Justice has been so great that new rumors about her origins are now circulating. The most popular one - an abuse of magic as a child morphed her into the hungering beast her opponents see on the battlefield - always makes her smile when hearing it... an act that bares her razor-sharp fangs and teeth. Evelynn now curries favor from League summoners, gaining influence for reasons known only to her. While the nature of her plans- much like almost everything else about her - remains unknown, there's little doubt that those plans are now set on the world stage.
''There is little mystery about her to me - she is the ultimate predator.'' - Jax
Reasons why its a buff
- Hate Spike Does more damage hits more people.
- Your old W aka Shadow Walk is now your passive, now you have room for another move
- Your new W gives movement speed on hit and when activated gives you more. Great for escaping and chasing.
- New ultimate Agony's Embrace percentage damage, and gives a shield yeaaahh buddy.
Reasons why its a nerf
- Stealth removes when you get closer to your enemy, that sucks.
Now you tell me, does this look like a buff to you or a nerf? Riot did a perfect job with evelynn, i can't have everything i want.
Times to use this move:
- Team fights
- Escaping enemy that you MUST kill
- When you are going to die.
Engaging In A 1v1 situation: See how well the person you are planning to fight is doing, Look for weaknesses you can capitalize on such as low mana, no big damaging weapons, or summoner spells on cool down. This is all According to how the game is playing out, i would avoid fighting tanks and melee AD carries such as Tryndamere or Xin Zhao unless they are critically low.
Engaging In A 2v1 situation: Your on the upper hand of this fight with a partner. make sure the enemies summoner spells are on cooldown (one trick you could do is gank to eliminate their summoner spells and come back 30 seconds later and finish them off)and inform your teammate that you are ready to fight.
Engaging In A 1v2 situation: This should be avoided unless you are excessively fed and they are critically underfed, if you really need a kill you can try to burst one down when they split apart and retreat to the shadows. And finish off the next one when you are ready.
Engaging Team Fights: I recommend engaging after your team has started fighting and when one of their champions are critically low. By the time one of them is low everyone will be focusing somebody already (and luckily that somebody will not be you) use your skill sequence described in the next chapter and cause as much damage as you can.
Retreating in Team Fights: Your team loses this team fight and now you are one of the few survivors running for you life. Your Guardian angel goes off and now you have no back up and you are running ... what do you do. First off use your Dark Frenzy and let Shadow Walk activate and run for your life. To avoid this scary death scene just be aware of when your team is going to lose a team fight which is hard to explain (besides your team dying).
Now on the other side of the board laning i'll tell you why this is terrible in all 3 lanes
Solo Top: Your really squishy and melee, other champion will keep you away from minions by barely poking you and now your under farmed. Bad situation. Since your not farming well say you want to gank mid. While you gank mid your tower is most likely going to be getting hit so you cant really roam. So you waste a move Shadow Walk. Yay -___-
Mid Lane: Same issue your restrained to that lane when eve is a natural roamer and worst of all the other mid will most likely have range over you. Not a good situation
Bot lane: Awesome you have someone else to lane with you =D only problem is that there is a 90% chance your partner and enemies are ranged. Now you will be taking all the hits, you cant farm, and once again neglects your Shadow Walk. You cant gank either.

Video isn't exactly right ... but the guy who put this video together made it because of my build ... since i don't record he did it for me and put it in his build here
Where Video Came From
Wolves
Spam Hate Spike until they die. MAKE SURE YOU LINE THEM UP TO DO MAXIMUM DAMAGE. Your hate spike hits in a straight line, make sure all minions are getting hit. No pot needed
Blue Buff
ask for a leash and stand behind where he will spawn so your Hate Spike will hit the big golem. Use a pot when needed and smite when needed. Grab Ravage and you can either LEVEL 2 GANK
or MOVE TO WRAITHS
Wraiths
Hate Spike and Ravage health pot if needed head back to wolves
Wolves
Clean them up however
Lizard buff (red)
Smite should be up attack and smite it
No specific order from her on out your top priorities are now
1) Ganking as often as possible
2) Getting Blue and Red Buff
3) Covering lanes for those who need to recall
4) And when there is no one to gank or cover just go back to jugnling and wait for another opportunity
Counter Jungling is very hard to do until you have your wriggles lantern and it is extremely difficult if you come in contact with the other jungler. With your nerfed Shadow Walk it may be hard to get away, but you do have your Dark Frenzy.
Evelynn On Counter Jungling: It is capable to counter jungle if you know where the other jungler is, if you do not know where the enemy jungler is stay out unless you really need that blue buff. But trying to steal blue or red without Wriggle's Lantern could take some time and allowing the other jungler to kill you would put him far ahead of you.
Evelynn On Being Counter Jungled: If the enemy jungler is in your jungle ping and get your team to the spot where he is. 9 out of 10 times you will lose early on (assuming you have equal health).
As evelynn play it safe until you know you can do some heavy damage which should be when you get your Trinity Force and or Guinsoo's Rageblade
Pushing Lanes is not your main goal UNLESS your team cannot win team fights then you should try and backdoor whenever possible
Team Fights: Knowing when to enter the fight is critical to your survival, entering the fight too early will result in almost instantaneous death and entering too late will cause you to not help your team enough and lose the overall fight. You should try and enter the fight when 1 or 2 of their champions are low and aim for the carries you should put you great dps and help get your team kills your kills for yourself.
Defense: all i have to say is keep an eye on side lanes while fighting in team fight towers are more important than kills ALWAYS
Not much to say here except talk to your teammates its the only way you can dominate successfully with Evelynn, she is not a solo champion. you need to be questioning your teammates by asking are there any wards and where the enemy jungler is or where he is headed. Just be aware of your surroundings and be smart. With the new stealth it is even harder to be safe
