Xin Zhao is a strong Jungler with good clear time and a good mix of damage and defense.

Take flash and smite as summoner spells.Instead of flash you can use ghost/ignite/exhaust.
You shouldnt take clarity/heal/revive that spells are the worst ingame.

Start with Hunters Machete and 5 health potions.Go back when you are able to buy boots and Madreds Razors.Depending on your enemy buy Ninja Tabi or Mercury Treads.Ask your support if he buys Aegis if dont you should buy it.After aegis rush Solari , its a good teamfight item combined with Aegis/Bulwark because your team gain armor,mr and a shield.After that items buy sunfire + wits end.That items work realy well together , Wits end steals mr and sunfire dps.Your last item is more ofensive , its a Black Cleaver or if you dont want it buy BT/Botrk.

Flat attack damage in marks and quintessences work well with his Q,W and so R.
Armor seals are important or otherwise you would take too much damage from jungle camps and enemy carries.
Mr per level are good for endgame.Flat mr is good too but the choice is yours

Taking attack speed , attack damage per level and armor penetration in the offense tree.

In the defense tree take 1 point in smite , 1 point in health regen or mr [your choice] and 4 points in healt per level.
Then take 3 points in armor and 1 in veteran scars.
2 points in Unyielding and 1 in Block.This masteries are good against physical damage dealer because it redcues AA damage.
3 points in Tenacity and Juggernaut.Tenacity is really important against champs like nasus or fiddlesticks.Juggernaut is a really good masterie becuase it gives you 4% increased HP.
At the end 1 point in Defender and Honor Guard , these are really good masteries for teamfight because they reduce damage and give you 5 armor + mr for only 2 points.

Pros
Xin is a good engager/disengager
He has 175 range [you cant have more as melee]
He has a heal
Tanky but can deal damage cause of his R
He deals % damage with R
He can shred armor of 1
He has a good amount of CC -Knock up-Slow-Knockback
His abilities cost 30-60 mana (Q,W,E)
Easy ganks at 2 or 3

Cons
In teamfights they will focus you ;(

Blue buff (if possible smiteless)
Rush to your Red and smite it at 520 health
Clear wraiths
Clear wolves
GANK GANK GANK
Clear 1 jungle camp again and you should be level 4

Your buffs spawn at 1:55 at a smiteless leash you kill it at 2:10.
Red and Blue buff a have a respawn time of 5 minutes, so note when you did it.
Wolves,Wraiths and golems respawn after 50 sec when you did them.

As Jungler your job is it to gank and do drake or baron.
