About me, or just some infomation about the idiot publishing his Vladimir p
I´m Trikser and I play LOL since Season 1.
But I started to play ranked in Season 3. And I am still in Gold.
But one thing remains. I still love to play Vladimir since the date he arrived in Summoners Rift . He was the first 6300 IP Champ I took and the first I got full rune page for.
But today I do not play it as often in mid. Maybe I will ad my Vladimir Mid Build later. But you can find all you need here as well.
Please think wihle your reading this guide that you can´t smply copy my build and play your own playstyle. So I will try to introduce the best playstyle for Vladimir :p to you or in with other words my Vladimir playstyle.
So I hope you enjoy my first guide I have ever published.

The Summonerspells I take are Ignite and Ghost
Simply you don´t need to know more then to take Ignite and Ghost.
But probably you want to know why you will take Ignite and Ghost. And there is just one simply reason. All other Summonerspells on Vladimir are not more benificial then this two.
Ok in my opinion it is much more funny to play with Ignite and be abel to do some extradamage. But Teleport is much better for rankedgames in high elo.
Take Teleport whenever you feel useless with Ignite and you prefer better mapcontrol. I think in many times its possible to show up for Teamfight without Teleport and I feel just better with Ignite. But sometimes Teleport will be more helpfull.
Sometimes you see people Flash and use Sanguine Pool but this is mostly the wrong decision to use your Summonerspells with profit.
Pls guys there is a good reason not to take Flash. You are asking yourselfe how to escape over walls without Flash or follow-up enemies? It does not allow you to follow about walls but normally you don´t need to follow for kills.
If you need to escape there is a nice trick to become untargetabel with Sanguine Pool. So just press w and your problem is solved. For next 20 secends you need to stay saver. But this is lower then you need for your next flash (300sec.).
And if you need to run away then take Ghost! Because you need to RUN and Ghost is holding on longer then Flash. Ghost will speed up your run as well.
In addition it is possible to use your Ghost while in Sanguine Pool. And there is a small additional effect no one knows while using Sanguine Pool A small Protipp by Trikser: after activating Flash your movementspeed is incressd by 100 for approximately 1 secend. You cant get this information from LOL but Mobafire mentioned somthing like this. Maybe it is just for better visual effect.
So you see flash is not needed in most possible cases. Sanguine Pool allows you to slow your opponent and gives you some distence to your opponent. You can allways take the shortest way cause you can activate the Sanguine Pool whenever they start to trade and dive through the incoming damage or ground control.
An additional reason for Ghost is that it will give Vladimir more potential if he will use his Summoner Spell for offensive play trains. It allows you 10 seconds to pass through minions and increases your movement by 27% (and 40% with enchantment).
This sould be enough time to run to savety and gives you time to make reengage if your team shows up or you see the opportunity to make plays after dodging damage, ground control or other abilitys with your Sanguine Pool.
Over all you may play out an opportunity to kill your opponent under his tower. He just can´t run 10 seconds away without getting catched with our finishing Spellcombination.
Additionally use the slow of the Sanguine Pool and healing ability as best as possible while fights. Maybe with creeps.
Here we go and start maxing Transfusion because were are a VAMPIRE!! So we win more damage and selfeheal for free. Overall we need to get the shortest possible cooldown on this spell. It is our main damagetool in earlygame. Later Tides of Blood will add more damage but first we need to get stronger because of his healthcost and lower healingeffect.
On level 2 we will take Sanguine Pool it is our escapespell and Tides of Blood is not beneficial enough so early. It will damage us more then healing and helps your opponent to win early trades. And we do not want to loose early trades. In addition we will need our 4 healthportions as well to survive early and stay nearly full health wihlye trading in earlygame.
So we will start maxing Tides of Blood after Transfusion because its our second maintain damagetool for constant harassment of our opponent. Our damage is not strong but it will become stronger and stronger with every last second.
On level 6 you normally should defintively be in an position to be ready for your first kill because you got your Hemoplague.
Sequence to use skills
At first 3 levels you will simply use your Transfusion on your opponent while lasthitting with your autoattacks. If he is out of range and you will get minion aggro you are allowed to use your Transfusion for lasthitting. But only if you are not full with healthpoints or to get minion you would miss otherwise. It is important to farm as much as possible to get your iteams as fast as possible and to get your power spikes after earlygame.
After reaching level 4 and getting your first skillpoint in Tides of Blood your allowed to stay in minions and try to zone your opponent away and push to tower. Because you can use your Tides of Blood for poke with your Transfusion and manage to take last hits while using your Tides of Blood to damage your opponent. If you will damage your opponent on this way I recommend to walk in range and use Tides of Blood and immediately Transfusion. The reason is that annimations and that Transfusion immediatly damages while the projectile of Tides of Blood needs some time to reach your opponent to damage him. If my opponent walke in range of my abilities I start with Transfusion insted of Tides of Blood to damage him. But remember - you just want to deal damage so spam your abilitys and if you know the range of Vladimir´s abilitys your allowed to use smartcast cause you can poke faster.
Maybe you will cast Ghost right here for better mobility while fighting and walk in range and stay in range while killing your opponent with your combo.
If needed you are allowed to cast Ignite for more damage, in best case right befor using Sanguine Pool.
If you have Zhonya's Hourglass and still fighting your opponent it might be good to use it now or little bit later to deny incomiung damage. Towershots, global ultimate or whatever. Never use hourglass just for fun because it holds on for 2.5 secends and other peoble will take this to their advantage to get an easy kill on you. And then you allways use your abilities and stay in fight if possible. Otherise after a won fight always us this to your advantage. Push lane damage tower or take objectives. Especially after scoring an ace you should think about to take Dragon or Baron Nashor . You should use the deathtime of your opponent to your advantage otherewise you do not need to kill them.
Crimson Pact is Vladimir´s passiv ability. It is the reason Vladimir is getting stronger and stronger with every last second in game. It gives Vladimir for every 40 points of bonus health 1 ability power and for every 1 point of ability power 1.4 bonus health. These bonuses do not stack with themselves.
This is the reason we will build tons of healthpoints and abilitypower on Vladimir.

|We will start with Boots of Speed for more movmentspeed. This allows us to get in range for our spells without problems because we are fast enough. also we can doge opponents abilitys and kite them while lasthitting.|
|We also start with 4x Health Potion´s for sustain. While in lane we try never to fall under 50% hp otherwise you may die after making a mistake.|
|The warding Totem will help us to see if their jungler want to gank our lane.|
|We will get more ability power and Spellvamp from Hextech Revolver ,so we will get more sustain. If you first back is with lower then 1400 gold, you should take this as your first Item.|
|An early Vision Ward will detect your opponents jungler. Sometimes it´s good if you have the gold to get one early and place it in bush to have vision all time long otherwise you are allowed to place Stealth Ward if needed.|
|We will try to pick up Sorcerer's Shoes really fast. The reason is the same as for Boots of Speed. Probably your opponent will have buyed them, too.|
|This is an amazing item to increase Vladimir´s early game potential substantially. Take this in combination with Sorcerer's Shoes and Will of the Ancients if you have no problems on your lane.|
|This item will give us more Spell Vamp, ability power and 10% cooldown reduction. Its the most important item for Vladimir. But you don´t need to rush it as fast as possible but allways complete this item fast, best after Sorcerer's Shoes if you have build them at this time.|
|Our next essential item is Seeker's Armguard , because we will build Zhonya's Hourglass as fast as possible for teamfight. But If you feel like you will need armor earlier then start building Seeker's Armguard earlier!|
|We also will build Spirit Visage for lategame so if you need magic resistence early grab this iteam.|
|If you have your Sorcerer's Shoes, Will of the Ancients, Haunting Guise, Zhonya's Hourglass and you are good in game take Rabadon's Deathcap as next item only if your opponents does not have stacked magic resistence otherwise grab Void Staff or Spirit Visage if you need more sustain or playing vs lots of mages.|
|Grab this if your opponents have much magic resistence. Sometimes its better to build his instead or befor Rabadon's Deathcap.|
|Never forget about taking this item. If you read upper about it, you already know when it is the right time to grab this item. Normaly as your 2 complete item after Will of the Ancients. It gives us more ability power, armor and a nice active ability.|
|This is an amazing iteam for Vladimir. Maybe the best one. It will give you magic resistenc, health points and 10% cooldown reduction. Also it increses all selfhealing abilitys. A must have particularly against mages. And never forget about Crimson Pact!!|
|This item is useful to take in late game for more ground control in teamfights, to hang on your opponents if they run or to get away if you need defensive support. In addition it scales very well with Crimson Pact. and if you decide to take Liandry's Torment you should not miss this iteam.|
|Whenever you are sick of gold buy some Wards and place them. We all know that vision win´s games. So take it. I especially like to place them in bushes near the river.|
|It´s so funny to see that there is a Vision Ward that stays on the map and no one detects it while you win of it.|
|You need to decide if you want placing Wards or deny them with Oracle's Lens.|
|If you don´t need to place wards this one is your option. Additionally you will take it if you play vs some invisible champions.|
|You know I love some bonus movementspeed. Maybe you are on the same trip like me then this item enchantment is perfect for you.|
|This is good if you need better Ghost while playing vs Udyr or other fast champions.|
|Your option if you will need to defend your base. I recommend to take Rylai's Crystal Scepter in combination with this enchantment.|
|I do not recommend this item on Vladimir but if you like take it. It is still a good item. Do not miss Rylai's Crystal Scepter if you grab Liandry's Torment. This item is really prefect if your opponent team is very tanky- if so I will grab it in any case.

|This runes are to increase our damgeoutput. we will need it because we are building much abilitypower on Vladimir and our oppent will buy magicresistence as well.|
|Remember Vladimir´s Passiv ability Crimson Pact and that Vladimir´s earlygame is weak. So we decide to wait for mid and lategame. So we will get more benefit from Crimson Pact if we wait till Vladimir begins to shine. We decide to take Greater Seal of Scaling Health for defensive aspect cause were getting Armore and Magicresistence later with Zhonya's Hourglass and Spirit Visage.|
|We are building abilitypower with Vladimir and this will give us etxrapower like Greater Seal of Scaling Health. Both scaled with Crimson Pact But to take ap on Glyph and hp on Seal is more effective then the other way around.|
|Additonally over all we will have to pimp up our early game a little bit. We do not take Greater Quintessence of Scaling Ability Power because they are not beneficial enough of lategame.|
|I will not accept other runes maybe more Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed then just one but Vladimir just needs to get best possible movement he will realize the full potential of his abilitys.|
21 OFFENSE, 9 Defense, 0 Utility
We play Vladimir as oftank so this Masteries will give us best ability to support our team in teamfight.
Double-Edged Sword// This Mastery will give us a decent amount more Damage.
// Some more damge dealt and taken. But we are a Vampire and heal ourselves as well
Sorcery Sword// Now we have 5% more Cooldown Reduction.
// This will healp us to get our Cooldowns as short as possible for constant damage on our opponents.
Expose Weakness// Now our ally´s will deal more damage in Teamfight.
// This Mastery is perfect for Vladimir. It increases the effect of his Hemoplague and gives other spells even the effect of dealing increased damage.
Mental Force// More Abilitypower.
// This means our lategame will be pushed by this Mastery and salles mith Crimson Pact also with bonus healtpoints.
Arcane Mastery// Some Bonus Abilitypower.
// This will effect our basic stats with 6 Bonus Abilitypower in earlygame. It is nearly the same effect like one Greater Quintessence of Ability Power. Do never forget about Crimson Pact.
Executioner// More damage dealt to oppenents with 50% and lower health.
// We want more damage and there is nothing better in the Masterytree then this but we also want the effect of Dangerous Game .
Executioner// 5% more Ability power.
// You know what this means. Better lategame and effectiv with Crimson Pact.
Dangerous Game// more healing!!! 5% of missing Healthpoints
// After fighting or while fighting everyone wants to heal himself. Just do it - we are the Vampire!!
Devastating Strikes// Ignore 6% of opponents armor and magic resistenc.
// More damage we dealing all time long.
Hacvoc// 3% omore damage.
// This will increase our damage all time long.
Block// 2 less damage of our opponents basic attack.
// We play on toplane. And everyone on top will autoattack. So we will get less damage in early game while trading. We do not skill Enchanted Armor because we have no bonus armor or magicresistence in earlygame.
Recovery// Gives us +2 hp over 5 secends.
// More healing!!!. Your a Vampire!!
Unyielding// Taking 2/1 less damage whatever damages us.
// Nothing else we could skill here to get early benefit.
Veteran Scares// 36 Healthpoints.
// And also nearly 1 bonus ap from Crimson Pact.
Juggernaut// 3% more healthpoints.
// all we need to get more tanky and some more Bonus ap from Crimson Pact.
Some information about my playstyle in different game phases.
In my opinion it is ecential to farm as much as possible in Vladimir´s early game to come preatty much ahead in Vladimir´s mid- and late-game. Probably this is what everyone needs to do even if your not lategame champ. So it´s importent to try to get the biggest benefit for your lane.
This means you need to keep attention how long you can stand on your lane without getting outfarmed, while you are trying to heal your self and use your sustainpower, or to decide when it is possible for you to go back to base, heal up and buy new usefull item´s which are helping you to stay in lane to continue gining as much as possible advantage for you. Kills or just minion´s.
Also you want to get usefull for your team when the laningphase ends. So it is very importent that you are strong enought to join your team. And it´s importent to be a profit for your team and not just one more kill for the enemy team, for witch they earn some more gold.
So porbably you should just push toplane and call miss, that your team know how to act wisely and take as much as possible out of the createt situation for theirselfe. And you should take lasthits and maybe more then 2 towers.
You need to decide what is the best for you and your team, so open eays look on minimap and tell your team whats going on while you push lane and take lasthits. It normally is not possible to win 4v5 but, it is possible not to lose more then necessary in unnecessary usless teamfights.
If you are ready to join your team, the first thing you do is not matter about something that is called killsteal. Take all kills you can get and get stronger as befor. Ofcause you let them kills but if you think they can escape somehow kill them befor it is possible for them.
You are abel to carry a game as Vladimir. But you need to stay with your team if you are not longer pushing at top and figth with your team. An you need to place good Hemoplague. If you do this everyone knows the fight is won because the extra damage and because you have hit allmost everything and your ready to stay in fight just because your Vladimir and you have short cooldown´s your Sanguine Pool and probably a Zhonya's Hourglass. There are not many things the can use against it.
After a won teamfight push and heal up yourselfe. Maybe your abel to stay and fight but normaly you should go to base and buy new item´s if they return to the battelfield. If they catch you mostly you will have good chance to kill also one of them just because of worth it!!
Over all look for objectives and thing about the 3 dragenbuff. It will give bonus movementspeed you your or their team. So use this to your advantage or buy enhancement for your boots to keep up with their movementspeed.
