As I always say:"There is NO perfect build guide! Otherwise you should be taking years to make it and hours to read and understand it."


Focussing on farm and exp is the most ussual way to ensure victory, but what if you focus to the farm and exp of your opponent?
Even though farm is very low at the end of a game, i always outfarm my lane opponent 3/1 or better.
Continously poking and pushing to the turret is the way to outfarm your opponent and grant ensured lane victory. Unless the jungler passes by. That's why my Ziggs is late game even stronger (compared to the enemy) than early game.


Compared to the main AP Caster build this is a bit trolling for Ziggs but with this build you become the most annoying champion in game.
- Running when you see you are going to die? NO!
- Standing between your DPS' and Ziggs to save them? sorry NO!
- Engaging to create a team fight? HELL NO! (Even a trolling Hecarim with 1500 MS is stopped by your Hexplosive Minefield.)
Next to being annoying you also deal alot of damage.
With this build i get scores like 15/4/12 or 1/2/24 (with almost the most damage to champions of the game -_-).


Having some early game Crest of the Ancient Golem are the easiest way to stack your Tear of the Goddess and have almost unlimited Mana late game. With champions who use alot of mana and have olny a little , like Ziggs, its recommended to have a jungler who doesn't need the first Crest of the Ancient Golem and who are willingly to give it to you. This also is a perfect fit to continously poke your enemy.

Counters?
Zed? No problem.
Diana? She's ussually dead.
Fizz? Only care for his Playful / Trickster.
Counters are hard to choose (, Go and watch my other guide "The icy way to Ashes").
Just like LeBlanc, Ziggs is a champion who makes easy work of almost all mid laners, but only if u know how to play and are able to play like that.

Starting the game with a Sapphire Crystal and 2 Health Potions grants you enough mana to spam your Bouncing Bomb until the second Crest of the Ancient Golem is avaiable.

Starting with Boots and 4 Health Potions is a better choice against skillshot opponents and early game champions.

Ziggs' abilities are not that overpowered that you die in a few hits, but if you are slowed if you are hit it is way harder to evade the next attack. So a Rylai's Crystal Scepter is the first item you have to rush.

Ziggs' Hexplosive Minefield is not that scary itself, but what if it deals an additional 4% per second of the targets current hp? They can't see the difference in the mines so they will walk over it as if it is nothing. And they die. The Hexplosive Minefield becomes the most dangerous ability in the game.

Now you already have maxed your Tear of the Goddess it is time to buy the Archangel's Staff. You will be granted insanely much AP and a nice shield.

Now it is time to focus on our Mega Inferno Bomb. We need to enlarge our Ability Power. Of course we buy the Rabadon's Deathcap.

The Lich Bane is a nice item for every champion who has an ability that requires a basic attack, just like Ziggs' Short Fuse. It is better to buy this one before the Rabadon's Deathcap if your opponents are good in evading your abilities.

The Rod of Ages is one of the basic AP Caster items and also for Ziggs this is an item that enlarges his survivability and strength. If the Lich Bane, Void Staff and Abyssal Mask are not necessary then this is the best choice. (Yes even better than the Lich Bane if you hit most of your abilities.)

HIGH BURST DAMAGE

Ziggs won't always buy a lot of health and magic resist, in fact almost never.
So having someone with high burst damage is the best way to kill him. Choosing one of these champions is the easiest way to stop him:
- Fizz
Fizz will be able to evade Ziggs' Mega Inferno Bomb and has a nice combo with his abilities.
- LeBlanc
I think I don't even have to explain why I put LeBlanc here. High burst damage and a nice skill to evade Ziggs' slows and Mega Inferno Bomb.
- Veigar
Veigar is one of the most lovely champions against full AP champions. One Primordial Burst and Ziggs is dead.
- Zed
Zed can make short work of almost every squishy champion and he is very annoying if you are very good at using his Living Shadow.

But if the enemy Ziggs uses this build he will laugh at you from the start of the game.
The only one that is left is LeBlanc who can burst Ziggs down before he gets the chance of getting his items.

If Ziggs builds this "Facerolling the enemy" build you shouldn't be focussing to kill him but to evading his abilities. So you should buy some items like:
- Mercury's Treads or any other item with Tenacity
- Enchantment: Furor
- Mercurial Scimitar
- Banshee's Veil
So you can evade or stop Ziggs from continously hitting you.

An other point of interest is the Satchel Charge. Especially now he can already cast it for the second time while it is in the air. So knowing when he will use it and stun him is essential to kill him.
