Ryze nerf kinda made him irrelevant due to how low his damage his now early game, granted if you get against a brain dead opponent in solo queue/normal you can still make it work. Have seen it before.

Renekton is relatively safe and can beat most champs early game, other early game champs are sort of a skill match up.

Maokai is amazing if your team has focus, but only at that point really. His damage is pretty subpar unless he's incredibly ahead, but is a pain to deal with unless very behind.

Dr. Mundo early game is rough and relies mainly on farming with cleavers, it's an ok pick, but most champs can abuse this power discrepancy if he ever pushes out from under tower.

While they're not as easy to pick up and learn, I'd recommend trying them at some point due to their power in solo, norms, and rarer cases 5v5's.

Swain is a solid early game bully and can force backs if not kill majority of champs he'd go against, However crystalline flask starts shut him down due to his mana consumption. You lose your chances to force kills and harassing doesn't do as much as it would normally for you, that being said that doesn't mean 'never harass', your e should be used off CD on your opponent as often as possible, if you can weave in an auto too that's just a plus. Mana management is the main thing to practice with him.

Gnar is another great early game bully and has good kill pressure through out entire game, especially on carries. He also excels at roaming due to his long range slow and gap closer+AS increase.

Malphite is in the ball park maokai is in, he can't do as much damage as a bruiser unless ahead, but at the same time takes very little, his lane phase is relatively safe and if he does get ahead, he only needs an item or two to global his lane opposition due to his high scaling and base damages.

The list goes on but these are just some I favor personally. Jax might become a relevant pick again but more than likely not, with how unbelievably strong Irelia is.

Singed is actually relatively difficult imo, knowing your boundaries with proxying, when to, when not to, kiting and surviving when you force jungle pressure top and all.

Shyvana I rarely see nowadays but she is a good pick yeah, her Burnout shoves waves fast, and does decent damage too. I played against one that maxed Flame Breath first... holy **** that damage was insane.

********, don't listen to this guy. Sorry to say but it's flat out incorrect.

Right now the best champions you listed are Maokai and Renekton, they are also fairly easy to play. Another very commonly seen top laner is Irelia but isn't as easy to play.

If you're willing to invest time to practice her, Irelia is a good pick once you've got her down.

But i am not really. I only play her when i feel i want to play her.
I just want a top laner who don't require much training

Well, solo queue kinda requires you to play one champ, over and over again if you want to improve. It's boring, but really it's the only way to progress.

I played Maokai roughly 30 games in a row which is far from being 'a lot', it was the most dull and boring process ever, but it got me my promos almost every time, so why risk something else when he was so strong? There was little counter play at the time to stopping his early game unless they slip up, get greedy and die.

Normals specifically however, it's up to you, I understand not playing your main in normals and I agree that's a bit overkill, I usually only play other lanes if I can, and if I do get stuck with my ranked preferred lane I just faceroll whatever I feel like, most commonly AD LB.

But i don't want to play a champion again and again. Right now i play J4 jungle as my main because he is said to be the best and he is ok fun to play.

But for top lane, i just want a champion i will play as a last resort because top lane is my fifth role

EDIT : why did i say J4 mid ? it's jungle !
