Augments are back in TFT Set 12, Magic n Mayhem, and have been updated with some new heroic flair! Augments have always come in 3 different tiers, indicated by their color, but a new "hero" tier has been added which upgrades a specific champion. Use hero augments to super power your team leader, or choose a hero augment that helps your leader support the rest of your team!


3 times during your TFT game you will be given 3 augments from a tier to choose from. It is random which augment tier you get to pick from, but every player picks from the same tier. Be sure to pick augments that benefit the strategy you are aiming for, and check out the tier list above to learn which augments are generally strong, and which only work in certain team compositions.

Tier 1 Augments

AFK
You cannot perform actions for the next 3 rounds. Afterwards, gain 18 gold.
Band of Thieves I
Gain 1 Thief's Gloves.
Beggars Can Be Choosers
You get +2 Augment rerolls for all other augment choices. Gain 4 gold.
Blistering Strikes
Your team's attacks burn their targets for 5% of their max Health over 5 seconds. Attacks also reduce their targets' healing received by 33%.
Branching Out
Gain a random Emblem and a Reforger.
Buried Treasures I
Gain a random item component at the start of the next 2 rounds (including this round).
Called Shot
Set your win streak to +5. Gain 4 gold.
Caretaker's Ally
Gain a random 2-cost champion now. Gain the same one again every time you level up.
Combat Bandages I
The first time each ally unit falls below 50% health, they restore 150-375 health (based on stage) over 2 seconds.
Component Buffet
Whenever you would get a component, gain a component anvil instead. Gain a random component.
Exiles I
Your units that start combat with no adjacent allies gain a 25% max Health shield for 10 seconds.
Featherweights I
Your Tier 1 and 2 champions gain 15% Attack Speed and Move Speed.
Final Resistance
Each time an allied champion dies, 30% Shred and Sunder the nearest 4 enemies for 6 seconds.
Find Your Center
Your champion that starts combat in the center of the board gains 15% damage and 12% max Health.
Fine Vintage
Completed items left on your bench for 4 rounds transform into Support Anvils.
Good For Something I
Champions that aren't holding items have a 40% to drop 1 gold on death.
Head Start
Gain 3 random 2-star 1 cost champions. Disable your Shop for the next 3 rounds.
Help Is On The Way
After 8 player combats, choose 1 of 4 Support items.
Iron Assets
Gain a component anvil and 4 gold.
Item Collector I
Your team gains 20 Health. For each unique item they are holding, your team gains bonus 10 Health, 1 Attack Damage, and 1 Ability Power.
Item Grab Bag I
Gain 1 random completed item.
Item Ladder
Gain a temporary item that unequips and transforms at the start of each round. The item quality increases each Stage.
Keepers I
Combat start: grant units with adjacent allies a 175 Health Shield for 8 seconds. This Shield stacks.
Lategame Specialist
When you reach Level 9, gain 33 gold.
Latent Forge
After 8 player combats, gain an Artifact anvil.
Lunch Money
Every 8 damage you deal to enemy tacticians gives you 2 gold.
Mentorship I
If an ally starts combat next to a higher-cost ally, it gains 12% Attack Speed and 150 Health.
Missed Connections
Gain a copy of each 1-cost champion.
On The House
Whenever you star up a champion, gain 1 gold. Gain 4 gold now.
One, Two, Five!
Gain 1 random component, 2 gold, and 1 random 5-cost champion.
Ones Twos Three
Gain 3 1-cost champion, 2 2-cost champions, and 1 3-cost champion.
Over Encumbered
For the next stage, you only get 1 bench slot. After, get 3 item components.
Pandora's Items
Round start: items on your bench are randomized (except Tactician's Crown and Spatula). Gain 1 random component.
Partial Ascension
After 15 seconds of combat, your units deal 30% more damage.
Patience is a Virtue
If you did not buy a champion last round, gain 2 free rerolls.
Placebo
Gain 8 gold. Your team gains 1% Attack Speed.
Precise Planning
When you win or lose combat by 3 or fewer units, gain 2 gold next round.
Pumping Up I
Your team gains 6% Attack Speed now. Each round after, they gain 0.5% more.
Recombobulator
Champions on your board permanently transform into random champions 1 cost tier higher. Gain 2 Magnetic Removers.
Restart Mission
Sell all champions on your board and bench. Gain 2 random 2-star 3-costs, 2 2-star 2-costs, and a 2-star 1-cost champion.
Risky Moves
Your Tactician loses 20 Health, but after 7 player combats, gain 33 gold.
Rolling For Days I
Gain 9 free Shop rerolls.
Row Rejuvenation I
Your team has 7% Omnivamp, increased by 1% for every champion that starts combat in that same row.
Silver Spoon
Gain 10 XP.
Silver Ticket
Gain a free Shop reroll after every 4 rerolls. Gain 3 gold.
Silver Veil
Your team gains 5% Attack Speed and is immune to the first crowd control effect in combat.
Spoils of War I
Enemies have a 25% chance to drop loot when killed.
Stationary Support I
After 8 player combats, gain 1 Training Dummy(s) with 1 permanently attached Support item(s).
Stimpack
Gain 4 components after you lose 50 player health.
Team Building
Gain a Lesser Champion Duplicator. Gain another after 7 player combats.
Teaming Up I
Gain 1 random component and 2 random Tier 3 champions.
The Golden Remover
Gain a Golden Remover and component item anvil.
Tiny Titans
Increase your current and max player health by 30.
Tri Force I
Your Tier 3 champions gain 150 Health, 10 starting Mana, and 10% Attack Speed.
Unified Resistance I
If you have 3 or more champions in the same row at the start of combat, they all gain 15 Armor and Magic Resist.
Young and Wild and Free
You can always move freely on Carousel rounds. Gain 2 gold.

Tier 2 Augments

A Golden Quest
The first time you have 161.8 or more gold, gain a 2-star 5-cost champion and 3 items tailored to them.
Aggressive Preservation
Your Preservers gain both Mana and Health restoration from the trait. Preservers deal 15% more damage. Gain a Bard and a Zilean.
All That Shimmers
Open an Armory and choose a gold-generating Artifact items and gain a Magnetic Remover. Your max interest is increased to 7.
All That Shimmers+
Open an Armory and choose a gold-generating Artifact. Gain a Magnetic Remover and 4 gold. Your max interest is increased to 7.
Arcana Crest
Gain an Arcana Emblem and an Ahri.
Arcane Conduit
The High Arcana gains 15% Attack Speed and 6% Health for each unique Arcana champion fielded. Gain an Ahri and a Hecarim.
Ascension
After 15 seconds of combat, your units deal 50% more damage.
Avenge The Fallen
After 3 allies die, your team gains 15% Attack Damage, 15 Ability Power, 15 Armor, and 15 Magic Resist.
Balanced Budget
At the start of the next 4 rounds, gain 7/9 gold.
Bastion Crest
Gain a Bastion emblem and a Nunu.
Bee-st Friends
Honeymancers gain 1 more Bee. When Bees jump to a new Honeymancer, the Honeymancer gains a 25% max Health Shield. Gain a Blitzcrank and a Kog'Maw.
Big Gains
Your units gains 100 bonus Health, and permanently gains 10 Health every 2 takedowns.
Big Grab Bag
Gain 3 random components, 2 gold, and 1 Reforger.
Blaster Crest
Gain an Blaster emblem and a Tristana.
Blossoming Lotus I
Your team's Abilities can critically strike. Every 3 seconds, your team gains 4% Critical Strike Chance.
Built Different II
Your units with no Traits active gain 240-530 Health and 45-60% Attack Speed (based on current Stage).
Capricious Forge
Gain a Blacksmith's Gloves, which equips two random Artifacts each round.
Caramelized Comforts
Sugarcrafters gain 50 Health and 8% chance to drop 1 gold on kill for each component they hold. Gain a Soraka and a Rumble.
Caretaker's Favor
Gain a component anvil when you reach level 5, 6, 7, and 8.
Category Five
Gain a Runaan's Hurricane. Your Runaan's Hurricanes shoot 1 extra bolts, each dealing 95% of the original damage.
Cauterize
Pyromancers' attacks deal 3 bonus magic damage for every 3 cinder collected. Gain an Akali and a Shen.
Chrono Crest
Gain a Chrono emblem and a Zilean.
Clear Mind
If there are no champions on your bench at the end of player combat, gain 3 XP.
Clockwork Accelerator
Your team gains 5% Attack Speed every 4 seconds in combat.
Cluttered Mind
Gain 4 random 1-cost champions now. If your bench is full at the end of player combat, gain 3 XP.
Combat Bandages II
The first time each ally unit falls below 50% health, they restore 250-550 health (based on stage) over 2 seconds.
Combat Caster
Your team gains 80-160 Shield for 4 seconds after casting their Ability. The Shield amount scales with round of the game.
Crash Test Dummies
Gain 2 Target Dummies. Combat start: Your Target Dummies launch themselves towards the largest clump of enemies and Stun them for 1.25 seconds.
Crown Guarded
Gain a Crownguard. Your Crownguards' start of combat effect is 100% stronger.
Defensive Arts
Enemies hit by Incantor Abilities deal 10% less damage for 2 seconds. At max stacks, Incantors gain 10 Mana every 2 seconds. Gain a Ziggs and a Syndra.
Deja Vu
Gain a Galio. Your strongest Galio has +3 range and gains 15 Mana and 6 Ability Power on each attack. His Ability deals 130% more damage, but no longer stuns or reduces damage.
Deja Vu+
Gain a 2-star Galio. Your strongest Galio gain +3 Range and gains 15 Mana and 6 Ability Power on each attack. His spell deals 130% increased damage but no longer stuns or reduces damage.
Double Down
After each player combat, gain gold equal to the length of your win or loss streak (max 4 gold).
Draconic Mastery
Dragons deal 15% damage to Burned enemies. Enemies that are Burned deal 12% damage to Dragons. Gain a Nomsy and a Shyvana.
Dragon's Spirit
Gain a Dragon's Claw. Every time you heal 7000 Health with Dragon's Claws, gain an item component, up to 4.
Duo Queue
Gain 2 random 5-cost champions and 2 copies of a random component.
Eldritch Crest
Gain an Eldritch emblem and a Nilah.
Endless Hunt
Your Hunters gain 8% Attack Damage on every takedown. Gain a Twitch and a Kog'maw.
Epoch
Now, and at the start of every stage, gain 6/8 XP and 2/3 free rerolls.
Escort Quest
Gain a Training Dummy. You gain 3 gold every time it survives player combat.
Eternal Growth
Shapeshifters that begin combat next to another Shapeshifter gain 30 permanent Health. Shapeshifters gain 100 Health now. Gain an Elise and a Jayce.
Explosive Growth
At the start of the next 4 rounds, gain 8/10 XP.
Faerie Crest
Gain a Faerie emblem and a Tristana.
Fast Forward
After casting an Ability, Chronomancers gain 25% Attack Speed and 15% Omnivamp for 3 seconds. Gain a Jax and a Zilean.
Flexible
Gain 1 random emblem. At the start of every Stage, gain a random emblem. Your team gains 25 Health for each emblem they are holding.
Fortune Favors the Bold
Winning combat against a player will give bonus orbs. The longer your loss streak, the bigger the payout.
Frost Crest
Gain a Frost emblem and a Zilean.
Frosty Frontline
The Frost trait also grants 1 placeable Frost Statue equipped with Eternal Winter that gains health with each Frost trait level. The first time it would die, it instead regenerates 40% Health over 6 seconds if an ally is alive. Gain a Warwick and a Zilean.
Heroic Grab Bag
Gain 2 Lesser Champion Duplicators and 6 gold.
High Horsepower
Gain a 2-star Lillia. Your strongest Lillia gains 100% Attack Speed and moves 150% faster. Her Ability deals 235% bonus damage, but only hits 1 target.
High Voltage
Gain an Ionic Spark. Your Ionic Sparks have +6 hex radius and do 30% more damage.
Higher Education
Every time your Scholars spend 100 Mana, all Scholars gain 10% Attack Speed. Gain a Zoe and an Ahri.
Honeymancy Crest
Gain a Honeymancy emblem and a Nunu.
Hunter Crest
Gain a Hunter emblem and a Kog'Maw.
Incantor Crest
Gain an Incantor emblem and a Syndra.
Inspiring Epitaph
When a unit dies, the nearest ally gains a 20% max Health Shield and 10% stacking Attack Speed.
Item Collector II
Your team gains 40 Health. For each unique item they are holding, your team gains bonus 15 Health, 1.5 Attack Damage, and 1.5 Ability Power.
Keepers II
Combat start: grant units with adjacent allies a 260 Health Shield for 8 seconds. This Shield stacks.
Learning to Spell
Your team gains 18 bonus Ability Power, and permanently gains 1 Ability Power every 2 takedowns.
Little Buddies
Your 4-cost and 5-cost champions gain 65 Health and 9% Attack Speed for every 1-cost and 2-cost champion on your board.
Long Distance Pals
Combat start: Your 2 units furthest from each other form a bond, sharing 20% of their Armor, Magic Resist, Attack Damage, and Ability Power with each other.
Mage Crest
Gain a Mage Emblem and a Galio.
Magic Wand
Gain a Needlessly Large Rod. Your units gain 18 Ability Power.
Martyr
Whenever one of your allies die, your team heals for 9% of their max Health.
Mentorship II
If an ally starts combat next to a higher-cost ally, it gains 18% Attack Speed and 220 Health.
Metabolic Accelerator
Gain 2 player health after every player combat. Your Tactician also moves faster.
Molten Caramel
Gain a Rumble. Your strongest Rumble's Ability deals 190% damage and costs 30 less Mana but no longer reduces damage. Rumble also gains 15% Omnivamp.
Multistriker Crest
Gain a Multistriker emblem and a Kassadin.
Not Today
Gain an Edge of Night. Champions holding this item gain 35% Attack Speed.

Witch curses last forever. Witch Abilities also curse the nearest uncursed champion. If all champions are cursed, Witches gain 20% Attack Damage and Ability Power. Gain a Poppy and a Cassiopeia.
Practice Partners
Whenever a Mage casts an Ability, they grant 5 Mana to the nearest ally. Gain a Soraka and a Galio.
Preserver Crest
Gain a Preserver emblem and a Zilean.
Press The Attack
Your Multistriker's attacks apply a stack on their target for 5 seconds. Every 3rd stack deals true damage equal to 5.5% of the target's max Health. Gain a Kassadin and an Ashe.

Royal Guard
Every 3 seconds, all Faeries restore 4% max Health, and the Faerie Queen gains 1.5% Attack Damage and Ability Power for every other surviving Faerie. Gain a Lillia and a Tristana.
Salvage Bin
Gain 1 random completed item now, and 1 component after 7/4 player combats. Selling champions breaks completed items into components (excluding Tactician's Crown).
Scapegoat
Gain a Training Dummy and 4 gold. If it is the first to die each player combat, gain 1 gold.
Scholar Crest
Gain a Scholar emblem and an Ahri.
School Mascot
The Eldritch summon is holding beneficial items. The summon gains bonus 5% Health and 10 Ability Power. Gain an Elise and a Syndra.
Scoreboard Scrapper
Every round, if you're in the bottom 4, your team permanently gains 1.5% Attack Damage and Ability Power. If you're in the top 4, they have 10% more Health.
Shapeshifter Crest
Gain a Shapeshifter emblem and a Shyvana.
Shields Up
Your Vanguards have 30% stronger shields. Vanguards become immune to crowd control for 6 seconds whenever they gain a shield. Gain a Rumble and a Blitzcrank.

Gain 1 random Component(s). After each player combat, if there are no items on your bench (other than Consumables), gain 2 XP.
Slammin'+

Sleight of Hand
Gain a Thief's Gloves. Champions holding this item gain 200 Health and 20% Attack Speed.
Spellblades
Whenever one of your champion casts, their next attack deals bonus magic damage equal to 175% of their Ability Power.
Spider Queen
Gain a 2-star Elise. Your strongest Elise's Ability no longer Stuns, but poisons her target and the 2 closest enemies with 130% damage over 3 seconds.
Spin To Win
Gain 2 Wukongs. Your strongest Wukong's Ability scales with Attack Damage instead of resists. After each cast, Wukong gains stacking 30% Attack Damage and 30% Attack Speed.

Enemies have a 30% chance to drop loot when killed.
Stand United II
Your units gain 2.5% Attack Damage and 2.5 Ability Power for each non-unique Trait active across your team.

The first 1-cost and 2-cost champions you buy are instantly upgraded to 2-star. Gain 7 gold.

Gain a Sugarcraft emblem and a Rumble.
Support Cache
Choose 1 of 4 Support items.
Support Golem I
Gain 1 Golem that fights for your team, holding 1 permanently attached Support item(s).
Sweet Tooth
Gain a Nunu. Your strongest Nunu gains 200 Health and 2% Damage Amp per 100 Health. Whenever his Ability kills an enemy, Nunu permanently gains 35 Health.
Teaming Up II
Gain 1 random Support item and 2 random 4-cost champions.
Thorn-Plated Armor
Gain a Bramble Vest. Your Bramble Vests deal 10-100% more damage (based on Stage) and heal the holder for 50% of the damage dealt.
Three's a Crowd
Your team gains 66 Health for each unique 3-cost champion on your board.
Three's Company
Gain 4 random 3-cost champions.
Trade Sector
Gain a free Shop reroll every round. Gain 4 gold.
Trait Tracker
The first time you activate 7 non-unique traits for 1 combat, gain 5 random emblems.
Transfiguration
Gain a random component. For every 3 Charms you purchase this game, gain another component (max +4).
Two Healthy
Your team gains 90 Health for each unique 2-cost champion on your board.
Two Tanky
When you field exactly 2 copies of a champion, they both gain 550 Health. When one copy dies, the other gains a 40% max health Shield for 6 seconds. When you 3-star, gain a 2-star copy.
Unified Resistance II
If you have 3 or more champions in the same row at the start of combat, they all gain 25 Armor and Magic Resist.
Unleash The Beast
Gain a Sterak's Gage. When its effect triggers, the holder gains 30% Attack Speed for the rest of combat and immunity to crowd control for 10 seconds.
Vanguard Crest
Gain a Vanguard emblem and a Rumble.
Vertically Inclined
Your team deals 8% more damage. Deal 16% more damage instead if you have less active non-unique traits than your opponent.
Wandering Trainer I
Gain 1 gold and a Training Dummy with 2 permanently attached Emblems.
Warrior Crest
Gain a Warrior emblem and an Akali.
What Doesn't Kill You
Gain 2 gold after losing a player combat. Gain a random component after every 4 losses.
Witchcraft Crest
Gain a Witchcraft emblem and a Cassiopeia.
Witchy Wallop
Gain a 2-star Poppy. Your strongest Poppy's Ability no longer Shields, but strikes 3 times, dealing 80% of the original damage.
Worth the Wait
Gain a random 1-cost champion. After 4 rounds, gain another copy of them at the start of each round for the rest of the game.
You Have My Bow
Gain a Recurve Bow. Your units gain 12% Attack Speed.
You Have My Sword
Gain a B.F. Sword. Your units gain 15% Attack Damage.
Zap Attack
Gain a 2-star Blitzcrank. Your strongest Blitzcrank becomes supercharged, dealing magic damage to 2 nearby enemies every 4 seconds and on every Ability cast.

Tier 3 Augments

An Upgraded Adventure
After upgrading 4 champions to 3-star, gain a magnificent reward. Gain 4 1-cost champions.
Anger Issues
All your current and future completed items transform into Guinsoo's Rageblades that grant 25 Armor and Magic Resist. Every 2 Rageblade stacks grant 1% Attack Damage and Ability Power.
Arcana Crown
Gain an Arcana emblem, an Adaptive Helm, and an Ahri.
Assassin's Toolbox
Gain a Gold Collector. In 3 rounds, gain a Prowler's Claw.
At What Cost
Immediately go to level 6 and gain 0 XP. You don't get to choose your future augments.
Bastion Crown
Gain a Bastion emblem, a Steadfast Heart, and a Nunu.
Birthday Present
Gain a 2-star champion every time you level up. The champion's cost tier is your level minus 4 (min: 1-cost).
Blaster Crown
Gain an Blaster emblem, a Spear Of Shojin, and a Tristana.
Blinding Speed
Gain a Red Buff, Guinsoo's Rageblade, a Recurve Bow and a Magnetic Remover.
Blossoming Lotus II
Your team's Abilities can critically strike. Every 3 seconds, your team gains 8% Critical Strike Chance.
Build a Bud!
Gain a random 3-star 1-cost champion and 8 gold.
Buried Treasures III

Gain a powerful and random reward.
Caretaker's Chosen

Dual Purpose
The first time you buy XP each round, gain 3 gold. Whenever you buy XP, reroll your Shop.
Eldritch Crown
Gain an Eldritch emblem, a Bloodthirster, and a Nilah.
Faerie Crown
Gain a Faerie emblem, a Giant Slayer, and a Tristana.
Final Ascension
Your team deals 15% more damage. After 15 seconds, they deal 45% more damage.
Frost Crown
Gain a Frost Emblem, a Protector's Vow, and a Swain.
Giant and Mighty
Your team gets larger, gaining 350 Health and +5% max Health.
Going Long
You no longer gain interest. Gain 10 gold now. Round start: gain 4 XP.
Hard Commit
Gain a random emblem. Now and after each Carousel, gain a 1-star champion of that trait with a cost equal to the Stage + 1 (max 5).
Honeymancy Crown
Gain a Honeymancy emblem, a Gargoyle Stoneplate, and a Nunu.
Hunter Crown
Gain a Hunter emblem, a Runaan's Hurricane, and a Kog'Maw.
I'm The Carry Now
Get a Sentinel with tailored offensive items. It gets stronger at the start of each Stage.
Immovable Object
Gain a Randuin's Omen. Its range is increased by 1 hex and its effect is increased by 70%.
Impenetrable Bulwark
Gain a Bramble Vest, a Dragon's Claw, a Giant's Belt, and a Magnetic Remover.
Incantor Crown
Gain an Incantor emblem a Jeweled Gauntlet, and a Syndra.
Invested
Gain 16/26/36 gold. At the start of each round, gain 1 Shop reroll for every 10 gold above 50 (max 100 gold).
Level Up!
When you buy XP, gain an additional 2. Gain 8 immediately.
Living Forge
Gain an Artifact anvil now and after every 8 player combats.
Lucky Gloves
Thief's Gloves will always give your champions ideal items. Gain 2/3 Sparring Gloves.
Mage Crown
Gain a Mage Emblem, an Ionic Spark, and a Galio.
March of Progress
Gain 3 XP now, and bonus XP equal to your level at the start of every player combat round. You can no longer use gold to level up.
Marksman's Toolbox
Gain a Sniper's Focus. in 3 rounds, gain a Fishbones.
Multistriker Crown
