Shuru: "I mean, Irelia vs olaf might as well be considered a top laner matchup, neither of them are primarily picked mid lane and are simply off picks. Tier lists aren't about situational picks or meta breaches but about what works simply all the time, pick Olaf into a top tier mage and see how he lasts against a top tier player on that top tier mage.
It's similar to Galio, sure he can wreck I'm certain match ups but that doesn't make him top tier. Low tiers or off meta picks beating low tiers or off meta picks consistently is just that, unreliable data for the construction of the top tiers"
Shuru, I agree that it is situational and your post proves my point. League of Legends can be very situational and sometimes, different champions shine.
You would never pick Olaf into a top tier mage but he was the single best pick in that matchup that Faker picked him in. Except if Olaf isn't on H4X's tier list, you can't pick it. Right?

I sent out an email toxi
I replied... All of my friends are trolls by heart so I can handle you. :)
I didn't have the intention of not wanting you in inhouses, on the contrary, I do. I was just trying to be humourous but as you can see I suck at that.
Not sure how you want me to answer the first question, but for the second question, I host (or help host) Mobafire Inhouses, and make sure they run as smoothly as possible as well. There's more information on that somewhere on the forums. Also what Janitsu said ;^)
It's nice to meet you.
I knew you were kidding but the scaling comparison between your sarcastic picture and your size 5 texts was quite different. :P, Ya'll have a good night. I'm off to some Foosball.
Mr. Will Ferrell is pretty great. If you don't want me there, I won't bother.

Hey toxi, you should totally join us for inhouses this weekend if you have the time

Every weekend, mobafire hosts inhouse games (basically friendly 5v5s) that are usually comprised of a lot of the community. We are all in TeamSpeak or discord and I always have a really fun time.
If I am free when you do it then I for sure will. My girlfriend is a full time job though. ;)

I don't know what that means :O
EU certainly has a large pool of talented mid laners, not including the players that went to NA. Among others they got Febiven, Perkz, PoE, xPeke, Nukeduck, Selfie and, if you want to include imports, Ryu.
If you look at NA, the majority of their top mids are imported. Bjergsen, Jensen and GBM are all imported. Only Pobelter really stands out as a mid laner coming from NA that's not imported.
EU certainly houses more mid laners to watch, and while I probably missed some soloq players, I'm not into high elo soloq particularly much.
I honestly don't know too much about EU. I'll watch their LCS games here and there but it's not as intriguing to me. I really liked watching FNC all of last year. xPeke is a lot of fun to watch along with Febiven and Nukeduck but I was watching game play to maximize my understanding of the lane. I would watch a lot of challenger mids and see too many flaws so it was hard for me to do.
I would highly suggest watching some of Dopa. Apdo Dopa is his youtube name and I personally think he's the best LoL player. He stated in an interview recently(last year) that he beats Faker more than Faker beats him in solo queue.
My interest in the topic comes from the understanding of mid lane more than anything related to LCS. I thoroughly enjoy the mathematics/science of mid lane and the advanced concepts there. I hope to get some physical written knowledge of the more advanced things Dopa does within the next couple weeks because it's pretty spectacular to me.
