I had problems top laning against Cho'Gath. I think he outscales Galio in hp/def and has knock up/cone silence and his ult can pretty much kill you early game if he pokes you enough thoughts?

The new Cho'Gath is just broken. I recommend to roam more often since you can't really fight him he just do too much damage. You can also ask your jungler to pressure your lane so Cho's gonna have a bad time stacking his Ult.

Sorry guys if it took long to update the guide. I've been focusing on climbing the elo ladder this month. :)

What do you think of the new items (Adaptive Helm and Gargoyle Stoneplate) on Galio (especially top)? Also, would you switch out the Abyssal for Banshee's Veil? Because the stats were swapped with the passive being the same.

Also, what do you think of full tank Galio? I wanna know if thats viable because I'm really not experienced with Galio but I want to give him a shot.

Sorry if I took long to reply! Adaptive Helm is a very situational item I only get it if there's a DOT (damage over time) champ like teemo's poison, cassiopeia, and even the mastery Deathfire Touch. Gargoyle stoneplate is really good for late game used the active if all your abilities are on CD. Only get Banshee's if theres too much skillshots (Lux Q, Blitz Q etc) Banshee wont replace Abyssal. Full tank Galio is the most viable way to play Galio right now since ADC are so freaking strong. Sorry for my late reply as well and thank you for your help! I struggled with the use of the two new items because while i definitely thought they got quite some potential, i didn't know when to build which one. Should you play full tank Galio in midlane as well though?

Nope, Galio base damage is getting nerfed next patch so full tank galio mid is dead :D

Mid-season is here been collecting a lot of match up thats why there is no frequent updates :D.

The nerfs to Galio isn't really that big he's still pretty good as a top laner :D

Yo just a suggestion, Add to wombo combo section as he can lock down a whole team to make a Ult gaurenteed to hit. Even though it doesn't pop them up like it's great to land the Popup on 3-5 champions. Also

Im not sure if its completly viable but when i'm fed as Galio i like to get a rylai's and a liandry's on him which would make my full build rod, abysal, iceborn, rylai's and liandry's with boots of course. Sure you are not as tanky but you deal a lot of damage.

Its okay to build AP if fed :). Basically going AP Galio is like going Full Damage Rengar. Sure it works in early to mid stages of the game but later on you'll find it hard to get kills/struggles to help in team fight cause your taking too much damage. That's why going bruiser is more safer and viable. (but if your team comp already has a tank support and tank jungle going AP is better cause your team kinda lacks damage)

I recommend top if your starting out to play Galio :). Mid is also a good choice if you don't want to face top laners .

Updates might not come up as fast as it used to be. The reason for this is I'm gonna play more Galio this week (like even more :<) to get some more information about the matchups. You guys can help me by correcting my grammar I suck at english cause its not my main language. Thats all thank you guys we already reached 2k views in just 3 days!
