What do you think of gunblade?

Added a build path for Nashor's Tooth. I underestimated the item, it is not dead as I have thought and it is still really strong when bought as 3rd. Also works in this build.

Jax threat reduced by 1 to Threat level 1, because it is way too easy lane. I dont think a Teemo player can lose this lane 1v1 no matter how bad you play. If you see Jax top, just enjoy the game:) But look out for enemy jungler, when you are pushing too much, it can turn into 2v1 lane easily and there is nothing more tilting then losing an easy lane because of enemy jungler.

Would you care to elaborate on Tryndamere being completely countered by Teemo? I know that I'm Iron 4 ( and for good reason ) so my arguments may be invalid, but I find Tryndamere to counter teemo very hard. Trynadmere's ultimate is longer than Teemo's Q, he has a slow which also lowers your AD (shouldn't matter on teemo too much) and he gets a lot of damage on aa's which you can only block for a second or so at lvl 6, so he'll have 3 seconds left to completely 1 shot you with the 320852330% crit strike on his aa's. I get that you can blind him, but the blind does not take 4 seconds so I've never had an easy lane against tryndamere. The dash and slow are usually enough to either force me to flash or die within 3 aa's (4 if I blind him).

Every attack-based champion is countered by Teemo once you master him. But it takes a lot of practice, to master Teemo. When you are against Tryndamere the only important thing you have to remember is to not fight him on level 1. On level 1 he will beat you and if he does that, it will be hard for you to catch up, which can lead into a snowball game for Tryndamere where he kills you, how you write, on 3 AAs. But on the other hand, if you are carefull and wait for the level 2, you will beat him (just last hit minions, dont trade too much until level 2). Basically (this next strategy applies for every enemy) the important thing when laning is to auto-attack enemy when they are about to last hit the minion. They are then forced to decide to:

1. last hit minion, get gold, but take damage from you.
2. not last hit minion, lose gold. In 90 % they will last hit the minion, which gives you space for auto-attacking the enemy.

You do this for 10 times for each minions and look a Tryndamere is on 30 % HP. That is the true power of Teemo. To harass enemy laner as much a possible and force them out of the lane. Whenever Tryndamere jumps on you, you can just blind + AA him + he steps on your shroom and then run back and repeat. You cant play Teemo as a "go all in 1 fight" you play for the long goal. Let the poison do its work:) Once you get the feeling on Teemo you should have no problem with Tryndamere. Maybe in late game, but you should be always ahead from him, so before the end game comes ,where he catches up to you, the game is over. About Tryndamere ultimate, learn how long it lasts and when you AA him before it is about to end, he will die to poison:) From what you wrote I have a feeling that you dont use any shrooms for defense. Always (ALWAYS!:D) have at least 1 shroom nearby in case someone jumps on you, so they step on it and you can run away. I usually have 2-3 shrooms behind me on lane, so I can always run away. Dont go all in, learn how to AA+Blind - run away - repeat, until you feel confident to kill the enemy.

I will try to write something on the poking enemy thing in the guide, cause it is indeed very important and hard to master. Sorry for long text:D

Thanks for the long and detailed reply!

I am in silver elo, so maybe it's different where you play, but you said to harass the enemy a lot. I always harass the eenemy a lot, because it's fun to bully them until they start telling me in chat how I'm a piece of **** for playing the most toxic(way worse words have been used lol) champion in the game. However, most tryndameres in my elo don't really back off if I harass them, as they just seem to heal a lot from Q. For example, I'll start auto attacking them and they will for whatever reason dash to me, so I blind them, and they keep trying to auto attack me, at this point I usually run back a bit and they chase me, until I get to turret, by the time they run back I try to auto attack them back but they're usually faster than me even when I've got W.

It's hard to explain why it's to easy in theory to kite them but when I try to do it in-game it seems impossible without dying, even though Teemo can harass like hell against all melee toplaners.

About the shrooms, you're right, I don't really use them defensively, I usually place them around the tri-bush and the river-bush for vision, 1 or 2 between the top brushes incase I get ganked and they walk between brushes or if the toplaner is a brush-camper, but I've never really used them to protect myself by putting them near the turret, because I've never been able to know where to place them without the enemy's minions destroying them.

Tl;Dr : I know Teemo isn't all-in, but I just can't seem to harass people without them harassing me way harder.

Thanks for your reply + tips, I'll remember them for my next game against tryndamere :)

Kled added to the 5. Enemies section. I gave him a level 6 thread, because he is really strong thanks to his lizzard pet Skaarl. But aside the sustain, the lane is quite easy to farm. It is more like a skill based match-up (if he catches you, you are in trouble, if not, he is in trouble).

Sylas added to the 5. Enemies section as he is played often on top. I gave him a solid level 6 thread, because he is quite strong when played by a good player.

Why not put mushrooms right in front of the dragon? The only way to kill the dragon is to walk up to it and attack it first. When someone walks up to the dragon to attack it, they should likely step on the mushroom.

Reason is simple. Usually when the enemy goes for Dragon/Baron they will have a Control Ward or Oracle Lens with them, so they will destroy your shroom. Another reason is, if the enemy goes for the drake, you usually lost the team fight already. You want to win the drake fight before it even starts, so shrooms in recommended area will help you with securing the drake (enemies will step on them before the fight even starts).

It is great for AP Teemos that do not relly on auto-attacks. I have no idea how viable it is for AA Teemos though:) GL and HF!:D

The build + guide is now fully updated for the current 9.1 patch and ready for use in the new upcoming season. Most of the enemies (the most common) are written, the rest I will add later on. But if you want to know a specific champion, leave a comment and I will start with him:)

After 3 years of not playing it put me to Iron 3. In 3 weeks I made it to Platinum today, so this build is still viable as it used to be back in the days:) I will try to completely update the guide before the season starts.
