While it's a good idea, it could also lead to players trolling by repeatedly entering queue and dodging over and over, making it hard to actually get a game going if enough trolls do it. It could also make it hard for legitimate players to play the game if they got an unlucky loss streak, since some players check external sites to see their teammates winrates. So if you for some reason get unlucky and go on a 10-game loss-streak, a lot of your games may be dodged.
Especially players that play off-meta would have a hard time playing, since a lot of players would dodge because they believe they are trolling when they pick a champion that does not belong in the role they have.

It has come to my attention that you can confirm that the "people" (and I use this term loosely) you play with show their incompetency as early as champion select. Some even trolling on purpose out of spite for previous games. At that point, the only way to assure you don't have a guaranteed loss, is to pray to God that someone dodges, and if someone doesn't, YOU will have to. And if you do so. You'll get a 5 minutes timer because of it. Because you escaped a guaranteed loss due to third party influence and their pettiness. I understand that removing the timer from dodging will encourage players to do it. And you know what? I support it. If you see, right off the bat something or someone you don't like. Being forced to play with them ruins the experience for everyone. At this point, the only way to make League LESS toxic is to remove the timer for dodging games. Honestly it would be great for the game as a whole. Game might even lose some of its rep as one of the most toxic games on the market today. Then again, the same company that made this game made the ""League Balance for Bronzies" video, effectively spitting in the face of their entire playerbase.
