Illaoi ain't that cancer you know .
just dodge her e and disengage after she ult and buy anti-heal and you are good to go .
Maybe she's a pain in the *** in low elo .
AS for ranged toplaner ( quinn , lucian , vayne , teemo ) they have a special place in hell awaiting them .

Illaoi is probably the easiest champion to play against. You just need to know a few basics to beat her, which as you said is simple stuff, like dodging e, buying anti-heal and destroying her tentacles, stuff like that.
But for most players she is incredibly frustrating. None of my friends believe me when I tell them how to beat Illaoi, and instead of listening, they end the discussion with something along the lines of "nah, Illaoi OP" and then refuse to listen to me.

Even for ranged toplaners . Every time i see them i pick xin top easy , they can't do anything against him ( maybe quinn can ) he's like an angel sent from god to redemp them from their sin by picking a range champ in toplane xd

Can confirm this is true, although irelia should move up because holy **** a scaling champ with innate amounts of damage in the early game is just fun to play against.
