Indeed, she may be a disengager, but there is no real damage to her skills, compared to more aggressive supports out there (like brand, just as an example)

Janna does scary damage early. Remember how Rekkles played her a few seasons ago? Then again, I bet Rekkles could do damage with anything. It is not realistic to judge a champion by what pros can do with them

I don't pick Janna for the damage you can do early.. but for the boring disengage she has..If you want a champion that does early damage, get something more useful. However, this enchanter meta is totally wrong. People who don't understand anything about macro go up in elo because you barely need to know your champion's spells to go up with similar champions like Sona and once they find themselves at a high elo then they go down because at high elo macro matters more. The truth is that if you really want to become a good support player you have to play engager playmaker.. do you make a bad engage? Next time you don't do it and you learn.. that's how you improve.. always being behind the others will never lead to any improvement.

I dont take support to do damage in the first place. Engager playmaker is the best role. Though I do have to admit that I am really rusty and worse I often get away with it. That annoys me so much!! You're so right that a lot of people are playing in an elo where they shpuldnt be

She's an annoying disengager and roammer. In high elo teamfights she can sometimes change the outcome of a fight. Unfortunately I don't like EUW at all because everyone abuses enchanters and the fact that you can have advantages by playing passively. And I prefer Korea where there's more playmaking.
