I see many solo tops you have tried against. What about kayle? I have a feeling it would be somewhat of a stand off: she pokes you with E thanes when you axe her, Q and W get her away and she would win trade I think. But with Olaf's sustain, he would heal back and probably farm more
than her but then she drives you off and farms a lot herself. What do you think?

I like this guy. Voted, up rated, etc. My only question is, is this guide still viable for Olaf? I notice you mentioned Ninja Tabi held a dodge attribute. In the games I've been playing Dodge was removed. Is it still best to pick up the tabi? Sure damage reduction and armor are always good on an off tank, but wouldn't the lack of dodge put merc treds up there higher on the list of nikes to grab? I know I'm new but tenacity just seems like a god send once your ulti is down.

I am a bit confused on which build to take? There are 5 of them. :P Why is that? The first one only has a few items..

Yes well a lot of this I think is explained in the guide, but the basic idea is you are wasting potential. You have a mega true damage spike with a low CD, and you can't scale it up, it just is what it is. If you take no damage, you win lane for free.

Pretty simple :)

AD and ArP reds are fine as well, Ad quints are fine, there's other options for sure. This is just another tool to be used in your toolbox.

Thanks for the clarification! Now if only League would give me more rune pages to customize for a bunch of different characters instead of making me buy them! They could at least put them on sale! We should all band together to get that happening!

Why does the first one have 3 items? Is it GG with just those? lol

@DuffTime

I understand the reasoning behind your rune choices (gotta protect yourself lol). However, have you tested out a rune selection in which each rune choice is primary? I just feel like using "subpar" runes defeats the purpose of purchasing them.

To me, it's like you are buying daggers when you could be buying axes (or whatever metaphor you want to place here xD)

Forgive me if I am being ignorant of what is going on. I am level 25 but have only been playing for 2 months. I saw this guide while rifling through the website and I must say that Olaf intrigues me and I just want to get as much information about him as I can before I spend my hard earned ip.

I would love any info you could give. I'm willing to learn! You seem to be like quite the player and I'm sure I could benefit! Feel free to inbox me a correspondence if you can be bothered to do so as I am sure that your followers would not want to hear me ramble on and on.

For reference, I mainly play Darius (Riven as well and then I brush up on people as they become free because I'm cheap lol)

Thanks for even wasting your time reading this!
