Views: 909 Skins..to buy or not to buy

So as I said in my last blog, Brand has become one of my favourite champs, but the thing im having a problem with is deciding if I love him enough to buy the cryocore skin..or if 10 dollars is just too much.
I've watched videos of Brand in this skin and I think everything being blue is so awesome, its almost like playing a diff champ. Also, I play this champ almost EVERY match now so the skin wouldn't go to waste, I would see it alot! My only problem though is that its 975 Riot Points which = 10 dollars for me to get the skin.
Now obviously ive spent money on RP before because I own Brand and Riven (my other favourite champ) so I have no qualms about spending money on the game, its just I feel that 10 dollars is a little too expensive for me to spend just for my char to look different. Now, dont get me wrong, I understand the game has to make money somehow and these micro transactions or how they do it, but I just feel that 10 dollars is too much for something as trivial as a skin.
So what are your opinions? You think this is too expensive and you agree with me? You think 10 dollars is easily justified? Tell me in the comments below! I want your help in deciding if I should buy this skin or not!

You have been more then helpful, thank you soon much man, between ahri, brand, sejuani, and riven, I finally feel complete with a good set of champs to play.
As for your next decision, I'll tell you right now that Ahri is an extremely strong AP carry (popular ban at my elo), while Nautilus completely died off. I expect he'll receive a significant buff if Riot wants him to be at all viable.
I'd really recommend Ahri if those are the only two you're considering.
I'd say (assuming you're willing to sink money into this) if you REALLY want the skin and don't plan on buying much else, get it. If you want a lot of skins/champs with RP and this is only one of them, wait for a sale on a Brand skin and get one then.
I wouldn't bother spending $10 on a skin if you could use that for 3 other skins on sale.
