Views: 1641 Akali, Worth it?

I am thinking about purchasing Akali with IP and was just trying to get some feedback on her, so let me know what you think of her and if you think she is worth the 3150 IP.
Yes
LOL you would.
1) You know you can snowball your lane (farms or kills)
2) Your team comp allows you to not to pick a tanky bruiser at top
Many people dislike her in Solo Top because she isn't very tanky and don't like having a melee champ in Mid. But if you're a skilled player you can rock both lanes.
One downside is that you need an extra rune page just for Akali if you want to use the ideal rune build. I bought another rune page just for her and I didn't regret it.
Oh yeah, and she's amazing in Dominion!
I find that against low-level players, you should have no problem dominating. At a high level of play, she's still great if you put her in the right matchup. It's the middle ground that's the problem. It's a lot easier to shut akali down than it is to play her well.
That's my opinion, anyway. If you find her enjoyable of you do really well with her, go ahead and buy her. Overall the price of one champion is pretty insignificant.
But
She snowballs crazily too.
