So far i enjoying him hes fun but i think hes actually under powered. He feels like skarner was when he first came out before the buffs. His jungle speed slow for champ that has alot aoe's no idea why its dmg is deduced on q considering lee sin and skarner dont have this affect of there aoe spam abilities.

Hope they buff him a little.

you get 25% of his bonus move speed converted into AD when you hit ~16.....He has ******ed scaling for AP....Sooo...Yeah AP Hecarim COULD be viable. I did a bot game, ended up having to start cloth 5.

Runes:
6 ArP marks 3 AS Marks
9 Armor Seals
9 AS Glyphs
2 ArP Quints 1 AS Quint

21/9/0 Masteries.

OFC no leash so I ended up having to return to base after I cleared Golems. However, it felt like he still couldn't do a full clear. Possible that I could be wrong.

His Q is EXACTLY like Skarner's even though it has a low mana cost Hecarim has like ~250 or 300 base mana. Each Q was 25 mana a pop so essentially without blue you're ****ed.

Overall he can be fun, his burst damage with a fully charged E+Q is awesome. Add in Ghostblade active or Ghost and it's a even more ridiculous.

Others will have to weigh in on him, but I don't feel his jungle will be top tier. Probably HIGH tier 2 at best.

Cant say about his lane only tried him in the jungle.

His jungle sustain is complete ****. I tried doing riots runes/masteries and you just die if you go boots and 3 pots. You need to go cloth and 5 pots. His speed not very fast ether.

He just bad they need increase his dmg from q on monsters and healing of w from monsters.

It's bogged down due to his Q not dealing ~20 more base damage at rank 1 and the heal on his W being capped at 60 against minions. If you're not a speed jungler now in the current meta then you're supposed to be durable, or that's my understanding. But I had ~56 armor level 1 so like 33% reduced physical damage...Yeah it didn't help.

And then you can't clear anything because it deals 80 dmg over 4 seconds on a ~12 second cool down. Not exactly the best skill to start.

TOO and some other notable junglers said that his jungle is decent, but his jungle is frail like Nautilus'. He just does not do very well against invaders. If he does not get invaded, Jungle Hecarim will be terror at 4+.

Yeah, 1-3 is by far his weakest point....Which means Mundo/Shyv/Lee Sin will ALL POOP on him.
