Views: 803 Why I Am Going to Stop Maxing My Q First as Lee Sin

For the sake of everyone, I am going to put the TL;DR at the beginning.
TL;DR: IF A LEE SIN MAXES HIS Q HE JUST DEALS ******ED DAMAGE TO LOW HEALTH TARGETS. ITS NOT A KS IF HE TAKES THE ENEMY FROM 3/4 HEALTH TO DEAD.
I was just playing a normals game, and all of a sudden we get this guy who insta-locks
Ryze bot. I'm thinking, "Okay, I am down with that.", because I got Lee Sin top and, not to toot my own horn here, but I very rarely lose top as Lee Sin. Dr. Mundo said he wanted bot, and I was getting a bit more skeptical as the champion select went on, and we ended up not having a jungler.
Our comp ended up being, Ryze and Dr. Mundo bot, LeBlanc mid, and Caitlyn Lee Sin top.
The game starts and I tell Caitlyn to go top just to clarify whats going on in case she missed something. After I dive the enemy top lane at level two and get an easy kill, I figure I should just roam/jungle. So I go do wraiths and I see that LeBlanc is fighting the enemy Gragas so I decide to help.
Now let me say that I like maxing my Q on Lee Sin first because it gives you a ******ed amount of burst and the actual projectile shot from activating the ability deals a nice chunk of damage for harassing.k
Anyway, I shoot my Q at a low health Gragas and I deal SO MUCH DAMAGE with the projectile. I don't even know how I did, but it was a lot of damage. I end up taking the kill. After that I cringed because I knew I was going to get sooo much **** for doing that. LeBlanc just begins to flame me and then Caitlyn begins to die top while I am ganking, roaming, etc. Almost every time Caitlyn dies I go top to clean up the kill because the enemy top lane didn't seem to want to recall.
As the game transitions into mid game, bot lane is feeding reaaaallllyyy bad, and so is Caitlyn. I was getting flamed hard becuase I was "Ks'ing" every single kill. Now, the thing is I had almost all of the teams kills, but its because I was the only one not playing ******ed. I only ks'd that ONE kill from LeBlanc. Thats it. And all of a sudden, I AM THE REASON WE ARE LOSING. NOT THE 0/7 Ryze AND 0/4 Dr. Mundo BOT. NO ITS ME. THE GUY BUSTING HIS *** TO ROAM, COUNTER JUNGLE, AND GANK.
I don't know what it looked like from my other team's perspective, but I was just the only one who could deal any damage. I had sooo much damage coming from my Q and I was melting people. LeBlanc could burst people down, but sometimes her burst wouldn't kill the target, and LeBlanc expected me to leave that guy with 1/8 health until her 10 second cooldowns came up, so I did, and LOW AND BEHOLD HE GETS AWAY.
I deviated insanely from my usual build, rushing Trinity Force after 2x Doran's Blade and Mercury Treads. (That's pretty usual for me) but then I got a Bloodthirster in an attempt to add to my teams very lacking damage.
Anyway, my teammates horrendously flamed me all game claiming that it is my fault Caitlyn fed, and that all I did was ks, and they even said I never participated in fights. That is borderline insane. I fought in every fight.

But in all seriousness, the only reason most people don't max his Q is because its hard to land, and I am good enough at prediction and aiming to actually land my Q 3/5 times. Plus, the insane amount of burst damage it can bring can really help you to surprise your enemy. For instance when you're jungling, if you max your Q, when you smack the enemy with it in a gank THEY WILL FEEL THE PAIN.
It's personal preference really. Thats why I like
In EVERY game, if you lose or are losing, it is ALWAYS someone elses fault (premades notwithstanding) lol. That's like, a LoL rule.
