Blogging!
Why not!
Introductions. I should probably start with one of those in my first blog, maybe.
Hi.
I'm Taruzard.
I'm an alcoholic.
But seriously.
I'm a silly brit.
Just a silly brit.
I've only come back to the game for about a month, now. I played late 2010, and stopped around the time Lee Sin was added to the game.
I've gone from level 10 to 23.
And I'm still bad at this game.
I think. Maybe.
I dont know. Maybe it's just cause I got carried by level 30s earlier on so my hidden ELO is higher than normal.
But anyway
I'm in love with Poppy. Her playstyle is awesome, and I love just bopping people down with my giant hammer at their turret while their team mate watches helpless because of my Ultimate.
Annie is another favourite, and my first bought champ in 2010.
These two were my first champions since low levels, and I love them both.
I've also recently discovered Teemo.
If I had the choice, I'd play Poppy most games. But Teemo is alot easier to win with (accidental killsteals=fatty teemo!)
I want to get decent to the point that as Poppy I can atleast just get to late game vs any lane, but I really need runes, so I pick Annie/Teemo more often than her.
Also, solo queue anxiety (and I'm only 23!), I find it hard to solo queue normals! NORMALS! Anyone have any kind of advice? I usually duo/trio queue, and half the time it's with level 30s so it's even harder on me, because they make me go jungle Warwick (A role I'm really rusty with. WHEN DO I GANK GUYS? Pre lv 6 is horrible!)
TL;DR: Hi, MobaFire!

my best advice is to be selfish, cause it always makes me feel better when i'm 9/5 and my team loses trolol
This made me laugh more than it probably should
Am I doing it right? 8D
Comments!
Luther, does that include just normals? xD
Yup, I haven't played a solo normal since like April.

Snow, thanks for the nice post :D
I generally try to play a few different champs. Usually when I'm with my group, I usually play as Teemo as either an on-hit top, or an AD Carry (lol, Teemo a carry. Nonsense!) if the two randoms don't pick a carry.
Although sometimes my group doesn't pick a mid, which is when I choose Annie (Which has been one of my best roles when it comes to KDR).
I'm not the kind of person to rage or flame, even when team mates are raging or flaming, I prefer a nice game environment, even if it's PvP xD
some quick tips on solo que.
#1. Try to Master 2 roles, and have a 3rd that your good at. (i.e. Solo Top, Jungle, Mid as backup).
#2. Don't play a champion more then 2-3 games in a row.
#3. Try not to rage too much. Yes some people wont listen untill you get in there face about it, but try and be nice first.
#5. Communication is key, if your team isnt talking well then you take the lead, call the shots, call mia's/ss keep things moving.
#6. No your skill. Can you dive through 2 towers get a kill and get out with you 600 hp left on singed or are you teemo at full hp and still supper squishy so you dont want to dive any towers. Know your skill matched up with your champion and make the best call.
#7. Never over think things, when in doubt rely on your gut.
#8. Stat sheet dosnt matter, idc if you go 30/0/0 or 0/30/0 as long as you did your job and you win, or if you lost but you did your job then its all good.
#9. DONT QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!! my biggest pet peeve is people who quit on teams in solo que, just dont be that guy, keep fighting, if you need to surrender thats fine, but dont just quit or stop trying Ive been in and seen increadable comebacks, just dig in and keep at it.
hope this helps you out some. good luck out there, and dont worry its hard to get better at this game overnight, just hang in there and you'll get it down.
I've been playing for a year and a half and I still hate playing solo queue. :P
