AP MID bread and butter RUNES.

Hello, fellas. I'm starting my Rune set to play with AP Mid champions. Wich set of runes would be a good "bread and butter", to work fine with the most of it ? Appreciate so much.

Alternatives:

NOTE: Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power Can only really be used on long-range champions who can deal damage without receiving it. Examples are: Xerath, Lux and Karthus.

Not core on everyone I'd say. On Vik it works pretty well with his but I prefer DFG as HP counter. Liandry's works very well on high dps mages preferably with a slow.

GMD, speaking of the magic pen and all that, does that mean is pretty core on most mages now? I mean I've been getting it every game as over . But I wasn't sure.

Hybrid pen isn't worth it anymore on about every caster. isn't included anymore when you go utility tree and since stacking mpen (with the new ) became a thing - you want all the mpen you can get.

greater mark of hybrid penetration is pretty good on mid lol.

If you want a general page that includes manaless casters, you need HP/lvl or Armor seals. I'd recommend the armor since they're stronger early game, especially if you find yourself against an AD mid.
