I'm lvl 29 with just a few XP left until lvl 30! Then if I feel comfortable enough with my play, I'm going to jump into ranked matches! WOOT!! I hope I will be able to play smart and comfortably during my ranked play, I want to perform at my best!
Do not play ranked upon 30, you'll ruin it for yourself.
You'll want to come into ranked prepared. It'll make ranked a lot more fun
I would honestly recommend not playing ranked until you have at least ~300 games under your belt, full rune pages, and a good roster of champions. A common mistake I see people do in ranked is try it right when they hit level 30 when they are still incapable of carrying their teams.
He is right I hit level 30 like you and played ranked ASAP. It becomes very frustrating sometimes.
Because without a variety of champions (if you bought many of them with RP then it changes) you can't counter enemy team and it turns into full skill dependant gameplay.
