I'll take back what I said before.

Shifty cake says:

I disagree, as a writer you should consider other people's feelings or thoughts on your work, and then throw their feelings and thought's in the trash.
Cause really, your making a story for yourself, not others, no matter how pretentious you may be about it.

Creating guides works on the same guideline.
You created YOUR guide. So while you may accept criticism and advance because of them, at the end of the day it is YOUR opinion that matters.
You see, all builds differ from one another because it is your own personal touch that is creating them, if you lost that and focused too much on other people's ideas and criticism's then it is not really your guide anymore, rather your a dirty thieve who can't be called out for it.

I do not make sense.
But, in essence, take in criticism's and feeling's projected towards you, but don't be controlled by them. Keep your guide as YOUR guide. Even if it is not as popular as other guide's, or not as perfect, there are still people who appreciate it.
